A window positioning apparatus for a vehicle comprising a window panel, a frame in which the window panel is guided between a closed position closing a window opening in the frame and an open position opening the window opening, and a multi-stage telescoping screw actuator mechanism connected between the window panel and the frame, the actuator mechanism being extendible to move the window panel from its open position to its closed position and collapsible to move the window panel from its closed position to its open position. The multi-stage telescoping screw actuator mechanism includes a plurality of screw members of progressively decreasing diameter respectively telescopically disposed within a next adjacent screw member of larger diameter. The plurality of screw members includes a first stage screw member that is rotatably supported and axially constrained in a housing fixed with respect to the frame, a last stage screw member attached to the window panel, and at least one intermediate stage screw member, and each intermediate stage screw member has internal and external threads respectively for engaging external and internal threads on next adjacent screw members, such that rotation of the first stage screw member in a first direction relative to the last stage screw member will cause the intermediate and last stage screw members to extend telescopically along an extension axis from the first stage screw member and rotation in a second direction opposite the first direction will cause the intermediate and last stage screw members to telescopically retract.

Window lift mechanism

An armored window drive mechanism includes a window unit containing a bullet resistant glass, composite or polymeric material window positioned within a window frame of a vehicle. A motorized window mechanism is connected to a door structure of the vehicle and acts to raise or lower the window unit. A mechanism connector is adapted to convert an axial rotational force generated by the window mechanism to a lifting and a lowering force acting directly at a lower face of the window frame.

Armored window drive mechanism and system

A vehicle cargo loading rail system includes inner vehicle rail portions connected to vehicle structure. Connecting rail portions have a rotatable connecting joint to rotatably connect the connecting rail portions to one of the inner vehicle rail portions. Step mounted rail portions are connected to a door rotatably connected to the vehicle and rotatable between closed and open conditions. The step mounted rail portions have a longitudinal slot. A roller fitting assembly is connected to the connecting rail portions and slidably received in the longitudinal slot. A trolley member is movable on a continuous rail surface created when the door is open having vehicle rail portion ends contacting connecting rail portion first ends, and connecting rail portion second ends in contact with step mounted rail portion ends. A trolley member cavity receives a support post of a member loaded into the vehicle by movement on the continuous rail surface.

A seat mounted extendable litter system includes a structural frame assembly supporting at least one seat. The seat has a seat member and a seat back member rotatable with respect to the seat member defining a seat upright condition and a seat folded condition. A litter tray is slidably connected to the structural frame assembly and oriented substantially horizontal in the seat folded condition such that the litter tray is slidable between a litter tray extended condition and a litter tray stowed condition.
