Various technologies for integrating a microinverter with a photovoltaic module are disclosed. An alternating current photovoltaic (ACPV) module includes a photovoltaic module having a frame and a junction box including a direct current (DC) output connector, and a microinverter having a housing coupled to the frame and a DC input connector electrically mated with the DC output connector of the photovoltaic module.

Enclosures having reconfigurable compartments for routing wiring used to monitor photovoltaic system output are described. In an example, an enclosure includes a housing around a circuitry bay and a wiring bay, and the wiring bay contains movable shrouds and/or partitions to divide the wiring bay into several reconfigurable wiring compartments. High-voltage wiring and low-voltage wiring may be routed through the wiring compartments, and the shrouds and/or partitions may physically and electrically isolate the high-voltage wiring from the low-voltage wiring. A tray disposed in the circuitry bay and include antenna mounts that extend into the wiring bay to isolate antennas mounted on the antenna mounts from electromagnetic interference from electronic components within the circuitry bay.

Systems, processes, and manufactures are provided that employ a casing associated with an electrical component to provide some, most, substantially all or all electrical insulative protection necessary for the electrical component. This casing may be further employed with potting or other materials to supplement and add additional or different protections for the component. These additional protections can include additional insulative resistance, thermal protection, moisture protection and other buffers to and from the environment.

Systems and methods for reducing problems and disadvantages associated with traditional approaches to cooling information handling resources are provided. A method for cooling information handling resources, may include conveying a flowing fluid proximate to one or more information handling resources such that the flowing fluid is thermally coupled to the one or more information handling resources and heat generated by the one or more information handling resources is transferred to the flowing fluid. The method may also include conveying the flowing fluid to a cooling unit such that heat is transferred from the flowing fluid.

A riser retention apparatus includes a board. A component connector is mounted to the board. A support frame is coupled to the board adjacent the component connector and extends from the board. A riser guide is located on the support frame and operable to engage a riser and guide a riser connector on the riser toward the component connector. A riser retention member is operable to couple to the support frame to provide a retaining force to a riser in order to retain the riser connector in engagement with the component connector. A riser including a plurality of components coupled to it may be coupled to the component connector and the support frame and riser retention member may be used to support the riser and retain the riser in the component connector.

An interposer apparatus includes a secondary drive chassis including dimensions such that the secondary drive chassis is operable to couple to a drive bay without the use of a tool and be housed in a primary drive housing defined by the drive bay. The primary drive housing includes a first housing volume. A secondary drive housing is defined by the secondary drive chassis, the secondary drive housing including a second housing volume that is smaller than the first housing volume. A secondary drive coupling mechanism on the secondary drive chassis is operable to couple a secondary drive to the secondary drive chassis and in the secondary drive housing without the use of a tool. The secondary coupling mechanism may be activated to release the secondary drive from the secondary drive chassis while the secondary drive chassis is still coupled to the drive bay and housed in the primary drive housing defined by the drive bay. The interposer apparatus may be coupled to a drive bay to allow secondary drives that would not, by themselves, couple to the drive bay in the primary drive housings. The secondary drives may then be released from the interposer apparatus and the drive bay without removing the interposer apparatus from the drive bay.

A card retaining apparatus includes a reinforced card support post including a board mounting member and a card securing device which is operable to couple to the reinforced card support post. The reinforced card support post may be mounted to a board adjacent a card connector and the card securing device coupled to the card support post to retain a card in the card connector.

Method and apparatus for retaining a card in an information handling system

An accessory device for a wireless telephone or handset functions as either a shoulder rest or a stand. The accessory device has a pair of attaching arms with a pair of attaching pins for attaching the device to the rear surface of a handset by inserting the attaching pins into openings on the handset. The attaching arms extend from a body of the device. A sliding arm slides through the body of the device in a continuous action to multiple configurations. When the sliding arm is fully extended to the bottom of the body, the device is in a configuration to operate as a stand. A foot at the bottom of the device provides support to the handset to hold it in a generally upright position. When the sliding arm is extended out the top of the body, the device is in a configuration to operate as a shoulder rest. A user can hold the handset with the attached device between his head and shoulder like a conventional shoulder rest. The device has a locking pin that also extends through the body of the device. When the locking pin is placed in an unlocked position, the sliding arm is free to slide to a different position. When the locking pin is placed in a locked position, ridges on the locking pin press against ridges on the sliding arm and lock the sliding arm in a substantially fixed position.
