A combination step stool and mechanic's seat in the form of a molded plastic, generally parallelepiped configuration includes a seat on one side supported on casters on the opposite side with a step stool surface adjacent the backside of the seat and spaced from a front side surface of the seat which includes a recess tray for tools and other items.

Tools are described which may be secured to blocking sockets of a vehicle holding system for use with a vehicle frame straightener. Each of the tools is designed to block and hold the frame of a vehicle during the frame straightening procedure.

A fence rail and post construction is described wherein a metal tubular fence rail has one end thereof extending through an opening formed in one side of the post. A rail retainer is selectively removably secured to the fence rail outwardly of the post with the retainer engaging the post to limit longitudinal movement of the fence rail with respect to the post.

A gate is disclosed for positioning between a hinge post and a latch post. The gate comprises horizontally spaced-apart end members which are channel-shaped. Each of the end members has a base portion and spaced-apart side walls extending therefrom. A plurality of metal rail members are initially secured to and extend between the end members by means of pivot bolts. When the metal gate has been adjusted to conform to elevational differences between the hinge post and the latch post, the relationship of the rail members and the end members is fixed by means of screws extending through the side walls of the end members into the ends of the rail members.

A vehicle holding system for use with a vehicle frame straightener including a vehicle supporting rack and one or more pulling towers positioned adjacent thereto. The system of this invention comprises a pair of elongated cross bars which are secured to the rack and which extend between the sides thereof. A pair of blocking sockets are selectively mounted on each of the cross bars. Each of the locking sockets has a socket insert sleeve positioned therein which has a blocking upright mounted therein. Various components may be either secured to the sleeve or to the blocking uprights to block or hold the vehicle frame during the straightening operation.

This invention relates to an improved apparatus for pulling deformations out of sheet metal and metal frames of automobiles, and other vehicles or other items having metal parts. The improvements are directed towards chain pulley assemblies, through which pulling chains travel. The chain pulley assemblies allow locking of the pulling chain within the tracks of the pulley assemblies, prevent loss of pull on one chain assembly, even though the pull angle is changed on another chain assembly during the course of the pull, and permit two or more individual controlled pulls to be accomplished at the same time.
