Systems and methods of geographically limiting a cellular gateway for a Wi-Fi network include obtaining a location of the cellular gateway; determining whether the cellular gateway is authorized to operate at the location on a given cellular network; and performing an action including any of blocking, allowing, or partially allowing operation of the cellular gateway on the cellular network. The method can be implemented by a cloud service, and wherein the location is determined by one of the cellular gateway and a user device connected to the cellular gateway.

Also, according to additional implementations, the method may include analyzing, over time, the usage parameters with respect to each of the one or more user devices. Based on the usage parameters analyzed over time, the method may include the step of creating one or more behavioral models associated with one or more users, where each behavioral model may represent a usage pattern of a respective user according to how the user uses at least one of the user devices.

Systems and methods are provided for determining whether dissimilar device identifiers in a network actually represent the same physical device. A method, according to one implementation, includes obtaining first and second sets of operational parameters related to first and second set of devices operating in a section of a network. The first and second sets of operational parameters include first and second sets of device identifiers representing the first and second sets of devices, respectively. The method also includes comparing the first set of device identifiers with the second set of device identifiers to find non-matching device identifiers. With respect to the non-matching device identifiers, the first and second sets of operational parameters are analyzed to determine if a device identifier of the first set of device identifiers and a device identifier of the second set of device identifiers likely represent the same device.

System and methods are provided for building intelligence around IoT devices that can prioritize an attack attack sphere, such that scanning and protection can be focused on risky spheres before others that may be less at risk. The attack spheres include specific device types, vendors, geographic locations, demographics, or organizations. Priority based vulnerability scanning and protection is utilized along with the concept of attack spheres to define priority zones which may be unique. Priority computation based on trend analysis and predictive analysis is used to determine the vulnerability of specific devices and groups of devices. This will significantly reduce the attack exposure and ensures the proactive damage control.

A local control system, according to one implementation, includes a smart ring configured to obtain movement information related to one or more movements of the smart ring while a user is wearing the smart ring. The local control system also includes a controller device configured to communicate with the smart ring using Bluetooth or Wi-Fi signals. Characteristics of the movement information can be translated in order to obtain one or more control commands. The controller device is configured to control one or more aspects of one or more electronic devices based on the one or more control commands.
