An insulating panel assembly includes an exterior panel that is formed of a metal. The insulating panel assembly also includes an interior panel. A spacer is coupled to the exterior panel and the interior panel. The spacer maintains the exterior panel in a generally parallel, spaced relationship with the interior panel.

A demountable wall system includes a frame component that has a base. The demountable wall system also includes a biasing element and a cover that is removably coupled to the frame component. The cover includes a cover body and an engagement projection extending outwards from the cover body, and the biasing element is configured to bias the cover such that the engagement projection engages the frame component.

A demountable wall system includes a frame component. The frame component may include a front channel that receives a panel of the demountable wall system. In addition to the front channel, the frame component may include at least one of a front cover, a removable back cover, a leveling system, a supplemental channel, or a joining system. In some examples, the demountable wall system includes a door support system for movably supporting a door relative to the panel of the demountable wall system.

Demountable wall system and method

In one aspect, the present invention relates to a plug of the type utilized for sealing a junction between a horizontal member and a vertical mullion of a curtain wall. The plug may include a plug body. The plug body may include a front body portion, a rear body portion, a left body portion, a right body portion, a top surface disposed between the left body portion, the right body portion, the front body portion, and the rear body portion. A rabbet is disposed across the front body portion. A spacer flange extends from the front body portion. A plurality of chamfers are disposed between the top surface and the left body portion, the right body portion, and the rear body portions. The plug is sized to occupy a gap formed in the junction between the horizontal member and the vertical mullion of the curtain wall. The rabbet and the plurality of chamfers form a plurality of large crevices between the plug, the horizontal member, and the vertical mullion. The large crevices allow penetration of a sealant therein.

Method and system for improved curtain wall sealing

A curtain wall system having a mullion mounting tongue screw-race configuration for improving the efficiency and reliability of curtain wall elements assembled thereto. The curtain wall system includes a face, a first leg, and a second leg. The first and second leg are integrally formed with and extend outwardly from the face and are interconnected via an intermediate web section. Each of the first leg and the second leg include an outer screw-race lip and an inner screw-race lip. The inner screw-race lips and the outer screw-race lips are disposed on opposite sides of the intermediate web section to form a screw race. The inner screw-race lips and the outer screw-race lips are spaced apart by a distance affording engagement by a threaded fastener against each of the inner screw-race lips and the outer screw-race lips. A thickness of the intermediate web section is less than a thickness of the first leg and of the second leg.

Curtain-wall mullion with mounting tongue screw race

The dual axis grinder includes a support frame with a plate and a mast. The mast is connected to the boom of an excavator and to a hydraulic stick control cylinder. An auger tube is journaled in a bore through the support frame plate for rotation about a vertical axis. Auger flighting may be attached to the auger tube. A central support housing is attached to the bottom of the auger tube. Two cylindrical drums with grinder teeth are journaled on the central support housing for rotation about a horizontal axis that intersects the vertical axis. The auger tube is rotated by a reversible hydraulic motor. The cylindrical drums are driven by one or two reversible hydraulic motors. Hydraulic fluid is provided to drive the two drums cylindrical through a rotary hydraulic manifold. Chemicals to treat environmental contaminates are supplied through a nozzle adjacent to the cylindrical drums.

The grinder mixer assembly includes a drum assembly with end plates rotatably supported on stub shafts. These stub shafts are secured to arms of a yoke assembly. The spindle of a first hydraulic motor is secured to one of the stub shafts. The housing of the first motor is connected to a center portion of the drum by a key. The spindle of a second hydraulic motor is secured to the other stub shaft. The housing of the second motor is to a center portion of the drum by a key. The keys transmit torque from drive rings attached to each motor to driven rings attached to the drum mid way between the end plates of the drum.

Grinder mixer assembly

The tree stump grinder assembly (12) includes a drum (176) with end flanges (178 and 180) and a central flange (182). A left hand stub shaft (102) is journaled in the drum (176) by spaced apart roller bearings (122 and 124), a bearing hub (126), and a circular plate (160) attached to an end flange (178). A right hand stub shaft (212) is journaled in the drum (176) by spaced apart bearings (218 and 222), a bearing hub (224) and a circular plate (258) attached to an end flange (180). The central spindle (114) of a hydraulic motor (116) is nonrotatably secured to the left hand stub shaft (102). The housing 144 of the hydraulic motor (116) is journaled on the central spindle (114) and is rotated relative to the spindle when hydraulic fluid is supplied through supply passage 306 and is returned to the sump ( 328) through a return passage (310). Rotation of the housing (144) drives the drum (176) through keys (202, ring member (194) and the central flange (182). Bit and block assemblies (280) on the outside surface of the drum (176) can grind tree stumps and other material. Seals (146, 246, 152 and 252) protect the roller bearings 122, 124, 218 and 222) from solid and liquid materials outside the drum (176).

Grinder beam drive for a tree stump grinder

The tree stump grinder is adapted to be attached to a backhoe or an excavator with a boom and a stick. The tree stump grinder includes a yoke which is pivotally secured to the stick. A hydraulic grinder swing cylinder is provided to pivot the yoke relative to the stick. Fixed stub shafts are secured to arms of the yoke. Circular end plates are attached to the respective hubs. One hub is rotatably journaled on one stub shaft and the other hub is rotatably journaled on the other stub shaft. A hydraulic motor is fixed to one stub shaft and drives the other hub. A grinder drum is attached to the circular end plates and encloses the hydraulic motor. Oil is supplied to the hydraulic motor through passages in one of the stub shafts. A plurality of block and bit assemblies are attached to the outside surface of the grinder drum. An anchor assembly is also pivotally attached to the stick. A hydraulic anchor cylinder is connected to the stick and the anchor assembly for pivoting the anchor assembly relative to the stick. Hydraulic fluid is supplied to rotate the grinder drum and to position the anchor assembly and the yoke.
