A control valve may include a fluid inlet, a plurality of fluid outlets, and a plurality of magnets. One of the plurality of magnets controls fluid flow for each of one of the plurality of fluid outlets. One of the plurality of magnets controls fluid flow for the remaining of the plurality of magnets. When the magnet controlling fluid flow for the remaining of the plurality of magnets is energized, fluid flow is permitted to the remaining of the plurality of magnets. When the remaining of the plurality of magnets are energized, fluid flow is permitted to the respective plurality of fluid outlets.

Regulator/magnetic control valve combination

A tube fitting assembly is provided for a gas burner. The assembly includes a pre-deformed tube connector having first and second ends. At least one of the ends is provided an annular sealing bead formed by compressing and cold working at least two intermediate annular beads together. A first coupling member is provided defining a cavity and having a shaped seating surface adapted to sealingly engage a cooperating surface of the annular sealing bead. A second coupling member is provided rotatably and slidably disposed on the pre-deformed tube connector and is adapted to mate with the first coupling member.

Reinforced bead tube design

A sealed gas burner for a cooking range has a venturi tube assembly which is attached directly to a range top of the cooking range. A burner cup slidingly and releasably engages a venturi tube of the venturi tube assembly which extends through the range top. A burner cap releasably engages the burner cup and it defines a plurality of burner ports. The burner cup and the burner cap define an annular gas chamber in communication with the burner ports. The burner ports can be cleaned by removing only the burner cap. Additional cleaning of the burner and the range top can be accomplished by removing both the burner cap and the burner cup.

Sealed gas burner

A gas burner assembly for a brooding house has a gas burner which is fabricated from a precision steel stamping process. The gas burner has a venturi tube which extends between an orifice fitting and a burner head. The burner head is manufactured from an upper and a lower burner head. Each upper and lower burner head defines a plurality of burner ports with the ports of the lower burner head being in registry with the ports in the upper burner head to define the ports in the upper burner head to define the ports for the gas burner. The upper and lower burner heads are mechanically connected by a series of tabs and slots formed on the upper and lower burner head.

Radiant gas burner assembly for brooders

A gas range includes a gas distribution system which utilizes a gas manifold that includes a single gas inlet chamber. Communication between the gas inlet chamber and each of the burners is controlled by a respective valve assembly mounted in the gas inlet chamber. One of the valve assemblies is thermostatically controlled in response to a sensed temperature. The length of the gas manifold can be dictated by the spacing of the individual valve assemblies or it can be dictated by the spacing of the burners. The gas distribution system provides additional flexibility to the range designer while reducing costs by eliminating components.

A mechanical joint tube assembly and method of creating the same is disclosed for providing an improved fluid fitting assembly. A fitting having a primary tapered bore is forced onto a tube that has a larger diameter. The tube is radially contracted in certain portions and is radially expanded in other portions of the fitting in order to create a plurality of compression seals. A collar of the fitting is crimped around the bead that is formed in the tube in order to provide an additional compression seal and means for retaining the tube within the fitting. Alternative forms of the primary bore in the fitting includes a hexagonal shaped configuration, a splined shaped configuration and a slotted collar configuration for enhancing retention of the tube within the fitting. A unique method of manufacturing is used to make these tube fitting assemblies.

A gas range includes a gas distribution system which incorporates a multi-chambered gas manifold. The gas manifold includes a single gas inlet chamber and a plurality of gas outlet chambers. Communication between the gas inlet chamber and each gas outlet chamber is controlled by a respective rotating disc element which controls the flow of gas between the two chambers. The length of the gas manifold can be dictated by the spacing of the individual disc elements or it can be dictated by the spacing of the burners. The gas distribution system provides additional flexibility to the range designer while reducing costs by eliminating components.

A gas burner assembly has a burner cap which includes a burner port section defining a plurality of burner ports, a skirted section defining an harbor, and a base section. A plate is secured to the base section of the burner cap and in conjunction with the burner cap defines a gas chamber. An electrode assembly extends through an aperture in the plate and an aperture in the base section of the burner cap and is nested in the harbor formed by the skirted section of the burner port. The skirted section provides protection from both physical damage as well as from spills.

Sealed gas burner assembly

A burner for a 'sealed top' range which has a generally upwardly diverging conical body which radially disposed fuel ports and a generally flat removable cap disposed on the upper periphery of the body. Alternative cap designs and electric igniters are are also disclosed.

Gas burner

There is disclosed a semiautomatic timed shut-off valve assembly adapted for use in a gas grill including a normally closed supply valve for supplying gas to one or more manual flow control valves, a manual valve opening member for actuating said supply valve to an opened position, and a timer for causing said supply valve to remain in an open position for a variable preset time. Also disclosed is an arrangement for manually overriding the timer to permit the supply valve to remain open for an indefinite time period.
