A clamping holder for busbars includes a base member having at least one projection, opening and clamping surface all located and shaped for reversible positioning of a pair of the base members with the projection on each received in the opening in the other, and with the clamping surfaces in spaced-apart facing relationship to define a part receiving aperture in which a busbar or other part is clamped and held.

A joint for electrical conductors includes a connecting member having a longitudinal groove therein for receiving joining portions on a pair of electrical conductors. Biasing means carried by the conductors act against the groove bottom for biasing joining surfaces on the conductors into firm engagement with joining groove surfaces. The joint accommodates longitudinal thermal expansion and contraction of busbars or the like.

A plug-in jack for electrical busways or the like comprises a generally T-shaped housing of electrical insulating material including an enlarged head portion having a top end and a width substantially greater than its thickness. A plurality of spaced-apart electrical contact buttons extend outwardly from the top end of the head. The housing includes a base portion opposite from the head portion and having attaching means thereon for attaching the base portion to a junction box or the like. The base portion is integrally formed and connected with a relatively narrow neck portion which is integrally formed and connected with the head portion. Releasable locking means is carried by the housing intermediate the head and base portions for releasably locking the head portion in an opening. The housing is formed in two housing parts which are joined together along a joining line.

A trolley busway housing has a generally T-shaped top portion which stiffens the housing to provide improved bending resistance and also provides a continuous top flange on which hangers can be clamped.
