A compartmentalized electrical outlet box defines side-by-side forwardly open compartments for receiving power leads, data lines and telecommunication cables from inside a wall structure. These leads will be connected to corresponding conductors in a raceway that has at least two separated wireways defined in a base channel. Access openings are provided in staggered relationship at the rear wall of the raceway channel so as to be aligned with the compartments in the outlet box.

An electrical power outlet assembly having a housing supporting a plurality of electrical outlets each including an electrical plug receptacle. One of the outlets defines a pocket containing a portion of the casing of a field replaceable transient voltage surge suppression module (TVSS). The TVSS module is supported on the outlet assembly housing in plugging engagement with the plug receptacle of the one outlet which defines the pocket.

A fully automated residential-type circuit breaker assembly is made possible by the provision of retaining slots and guide channels formed within the breaker case. The breaker case then serves as an assembly fixture for specially designed armatures and magnets used within the trip section of the breaker as well as for a special designed bi-metallic trip element. Molded case circuit breakers having increased short circuit current ratings contain a dual contact blade arm assembly and an arc shield wherein the operating mechanism is shielded from the arc blast which occurs during contact arcing. The arc blast shield consists of a trifurcated barrier interposed between the circuit breaker operating mechanism and the arc chute without interfering with the contact arm motion.
