A system includes a first antenna and a second antenna. The first antenna includes an antenna section. The antenna section includes a first antenna segment, a second antenna segment adjacent to the first antenna segment, and a notch circuit disposed within a notch between the first antenna segment and the second antenna segment. The notch circuit prevents a first frequency of a signal from passing from the first antenna segment to the second antenna segment while allowing a second frequency from the signal to pass from the first antenna segment to the second antenna segment. The second antenna is disposed proximate to the first antenna. The first antenna occupies a second near field region of the second antenna and the second antenna occupies a first near field region of the first antenna.

Filtering proximity antenna array

A two-way radio system includes multiple units each having a hub, speaker, primary clip, secondary clip, antenna, and microphone. The hub has exterior and interior sides defining a hub cavity therebetween. The speaker is in the hub cavity and has an output directed to a speaker opening on the hub interior side. The primary clip extends from the hub for selective attachment to a wearer's ear such that the speaker opening is directed to the wearer's ear canal. The secondary clip extends outwardly from the hub exterior side such that the hub exterior side is between the secondary clip and the hub interior side. The secondary clip has an antenna support on an interior side of the secondary clip and an antenna cap on an exterior side of the secondary clip. The antenna support and the antenna cap define an antenna cavity, and the antenna is in the antenna cavity.

Ear-mounted two-way radio system

A location tracking system is provided for tracking the location of a child or other individual. The location tracking system includes a location server and one or more location tracking devices. Communication protocols are provided for communications between the location server and the location tracking devices. The communication protocols provide a low complexity and low cost solution for location tracking applications.

Location tracking system

This disclosure relates to antennas for wearable devices. In an aspect, the antenna includes an active portion that includes conductive traces that send and receive radiofrequency communication signals. The antenna also includes a ground plane. The antenna includes a spacer that provides separation between the active portion and the ground plane portion.
