An accent lighting system is configured to provide accented light onto a desired location. The accent lighting system includes an accent adapter assembly that is configured to securely couple to a light source. The accent adapter assembly includes an accenting plate that is configured to accent light that is emitted from the light source. A method of securing an accent lighting system within an internal cabin of a vehicle includes removing an existing light source from an aperture of a composite panel, securing an accent adapter assembly to the existing light source to form the accent lighting system, and securing the accent lighting system in the aperture of the composite panel.

Accent lighting system for an interior cabin of a vehicle

A light projection device includes a mixing tube having an open exit end, and a plurality of light sources, each of the plurality of light sources positioned to emit a light stream toward the open exit end of the mixing tube. A diffuser is disposed between the plurality of light sources and the open exit end of the mixing tube, the diffuser configured to diffuse at least one light stream from the plurality of light sources into a diffused light stream. A template is positioned proximate the open exit end of the mixing tube and configured to shape the diffused light stream from the diffuser into a patterned light stream.

Wayfinding apparatus for aircraft are disclosed. An example apparatus includes a wayfinding apparatus having a core composed of a light transmissive material. The core has a first surface defining a first face and a second surface defining a second face. The second face is oriented non-parallel relative to the first surface such that a second edge of the core is in a rearward direction relative to the first face. A transition is positioned between the first surface and the second surface. The transition is to optically couple the second edge and the first face.

Wayfinding apparatus for aircraft

Lighting components for illuminating an aisle portion of a cabin floor of an aircraft, and aircraft and passenger seats for an aircraft including the same are disclosed. Said lighting components are configured to illuminate at least a portion of the aisle, between adjacent passenger seats positioned on either side of the aisle. The lighting components are configured to direct light towards the cabin floor using a specially designed housing and reflector surface that are designed to illuminate objects in the aisle, while minimizing light pollution in the cabin and detection by passengers on board the aircraft. Said lighting components are optionally mounted on one or more passenger seats, and/or may be integrally formed with a passenger seat. Lighting components include a curved reflector surface configured to reflect light from a light source positioned within the housing such that it is directed towards the aisle to create the desired illumination.

Methods and devices for light distribution in an aircraft, and aircraft including such devices

A vehicle cabin wayfinding assembly is configured to be secured within an internal cabin of a vehicle. The vehicle cabin wayfinding assembly may include a placard having a front face, and at least one directional reflector offset from the front face of the placard. The directional reflector(s) defines one or more indicia, and is configured to directionally reflect light that is emitted from a light source into an application zone.

A lighting assembly configured to be positioned within an internal cabin of a vehicle may include a housing defining an internal lighting chamber, a lens secured within the internal lighting chamber, wherein the lens includes a central longitudinal axis, and at least one light-emitting channel secured within the internal lighting chamber.
