A high pressure ball valve including a valve body with inlet and outlet ports, a ball having a passageway therethrough disposed between the ports, and seats between the ball and the ports guidably supporting the ball. Each seat includes a core of polyethersulphone having a ball engaging face with the same radius as the ball, a metal reinforcing ring, and elastomeric seals bonded to the ball engaging face and the face that seats in the valve body.

Ball valve

A lubricated split plug valve includes a valve body defining a chamber with fluid ports therethrough. A valve stem is rotatably mounted in the body and engages a split cylindrical valve member. The valve member includes a cylindrical passage with first and second inlets. The valve member includes a pair of core halves defined along an oblique plane passing through the cylindrical passage. Identical grooves for conveying sealant/lubricant to the plug/body interface are fabricated on the outer peripheral surfaces of the core halves with portions that substantially surround one of the passage inlets defined in the particular core half. Each groove also includes a continuous portion encircling the remaining outer periphery of each core half. Each groove is in fluid communication with a reservoir wherein lubricant may be introduced from a source into the groove. A piston is in each reservoir and biased under the influence of line pressure and gravity forces. A first alternate plug valve member includes a peripheral groove that is semicircular with one arm or extension beneath the passage inlets cooperating with body grooves to introduce sealant/lubricant at the interface.

Lubricated split plug valve

A valve for controlling the flow of fluids of a flammable nature and under high pressure, which includes a hollow body having a plug rotatably mounted within the body between the floating seats at inlet and outlet ports with a packing plate in the bonnet capable of maintaining a seal against loss of fluids when the valve has been subjected to high temperature caused by fire.

Fire safe plug valve

A lubricated split plug valve includes a valve body defining a chamber with fluid ports therethrough. A valve stem is rotatably mounted in the body and engages a split cylindrical valve member. The valve member includes a cylindrical passage with first and second inlets. The valve member includes a pair of core halves defined along an oblique plane passing through the cylindrical passage. Identical grooves are fabricated on the outer peripheral surface of the core halves with portions that substantially surround one of the passage inlets defined in the particular core half. The groove also includes a continuous portion encircling the remaining outer periphery of each core half. Each groove is in fluid communication with a reservoir wherein lubricant may be introduced from a source into the groove. A piston is in each reservoir and biased under the influence of line pressure and gravity forces.

A pump for injecting metered amounts of liquid into a line or a conduit, which includes a reciprocating pumping piston in a cylindrical chamber having an inlet and an outlet, both of which are controlled by check valves, wherein the pumping piston is driven by a pneumatic motor of the reciprocating type and having a cylinder in which is located a power piston that is suitably connected to the pumping piston. A switching valve assembly is provided for controlling a supply of power gas or air to the pneumatic motor and which responds to the movement of the pumping and power pistons for effecting reciprocal movement of the pistons.
