Various embodiments include a system to manage a tool on a conveyance from a surface of a wellbore. The system includes a remotely controllable reel to receive the conveyance about the reel and remotely controllable to distribute the conveyance into or out of the wellbore. The system also includes a crane positionable to support the conveyance between the reel and the wellbore.

Systems, methods and devices for an inline integrity checker are disclosed. The systems, methods and devices may include detection of impedance to a perforating gun disposed in a wellbore using a controller; a built-in impedance device; a shooting safety panel housing at least partially surrounding the built-in impedance device for restricting access to the built-in impedance device; one or more input devices for altering an impedance or resistance threshold level; and one or more alarms for indicating a condition exceeding the impedance or resistance threshold level as determined by the controller.

In-line integrity checker

A housing contains an internal volume. A heat-sensitive device is contained by the housing and consumes a device percentage of the internal volume. The device percentage equals the percentage of the internal volume of the housing consumed by the heat-sensitive device. A phase-change material is positioned within the housing to conduct heat from the heat-sensitive device. The phase-change material consumes a percentage of the internal volume equal to 100 percent minus the device percentage minus an expansion percentage. The phase-change material expands in volume by an amount more than 75 percent of the expansion percentage upon occurrence of a phase-change event.

A wireline interface sub includes a wireline-interface-sub housing mechanically coupleable to a wireline and a wireline-interface module electrically coupleable to the wireline. A first tandem sub includes a first-tandem-sub housing mechanically coupled to the wireline-interface-sub housing, a first-tandem-sub-upside transceiver wirelessly coupled to the wireline-interface module, and a first-tandem-sub-downside transceiver electrically coupled to the first-tandem-sub-upside transceiver. A first gun sub includes a first-gun-sub housing mechanically coupled to the first-tandem-sub housing, a first-gun-sub transceiver wirelessly coupled to the first-tandem-sub-downside transceiver, and a first-gun-sub detonator coupled to, and triggerable by, the first-gun-sub transceiver.

A double safety firing system comprises: a firing line, wherein an end of the firing line is directly or operatively connected to an electrically-activated initiator; a first safety sub-assembly, wherein the first safety sub-assembly is connected to the firing line and comprises: a first shunting line; and a first shunt disabler, wherein the first shunt disabler disables the first shunting line when a predetermined amount of force is applied to the first shunt disabler; and a second safety sub-assembly, wherein the second safety sub-assembly is connected to the firing line and comprises: a second shunting line; and a second shunt disabler, wherein the second shunt disabler disables the second shunting line when a predetermined amount of electric current is applied to the second shunt disabler, wherein after the first and second shunting lines are disabled, electric current flows through the firing line and activates the initiator.

Double safety firing system for initiators

A transmission system between a voltage source and a wireline tool comprising a first loop to transmit a signal between the voltage source and the wireline tool. The first loop has a first transformer coupled to the voltage source. The system also comprises a second loop, electrically independent of the first loop, to transmit the signal between the voltage source and the wireline tool. The second loop has a second transformer coupled to the voltage source. If the first loop fails, the first transformer is isolated from the voltage source.
