An assembly for detachably connecting an implement having a pair of mounting pins to a machine provided with a dipper stick and a pair of tilt links operatively connected to the dipper stick, comprising a first assembly including a pair of jaw members pivotally connected to the dipper stick and cooperable upon pivotal movement thereof to selectively grip and release one of the mounting pins, and means for selectively pivoting the jaw members in opposite directions to effect such grip and release of the one of the mounting pins; and second and third assemblies each including a pair of jaw members pivotally connected to one of the tilt links and cooperable upon pivotal movement thereof to selectively grip and release the other of the mounting pins, and means for selectively pivoting the jaw members in opposite directions to effect such grip and release of the other of the mounting pins.

Dipper stick with implement coupling means

A machine for removing articles strewn on a tract of ground generally consisting of a wheel unit; a support frame mounted on the wheel unit, having device for advancing the machine along the tract of ground; an endless conveyor mounted on the support frame, having device to gather articles deposited on the tract of ground and a flight extending from a front end disposed adjacent ground level, upwardly and rearwardly to an elevated rear end; a receptacle mountable on the support frame, positioned to receive articles gathered by the gathering device, carried upwardly and rearwardly on the conveyor and discharged therein; a moldboard disposed forwardly of a lower front end of the conveyor, pivotally connected to the support frame; and device for driving the conveyor.

Machine for gathering ground strewn articles

A machine for removing articles such as debris and the like deposited on a tract of ground, comprising a wheel unit; a support frame mounted on said wheel unit, having means for advancing said machine along said tract of ground; a endless conveyor mounted on said support frame, having a plurality of tines projecting from an outer side thereof and a flight extending from a front end adjacent ground level, upwardly and inwardly to an elevated rear end; a receptacle mounted on said support frame, positioned to receive articles removed by said tines and carried upwardly and rearwardly on said conveyor and discharged into said receptacle, and having a set of tines cooperable with said conveyor tines to dislodge articles carried by said conveyor tines; and means mounted on said support frame for driving said conveyor.

Machine for removing articles deposited on the ground

A machine for removing articles strewn on a tract of ground generally consisting of a wheel unit; a support frame mounted on the wheel unit, having means for advancing the machine along the tract of ground; an endless conveyor mounted on the support frame, having means to gather articles deposited on the tract of ground and a flight extending from a front end disposed adjacent ground level, upwardly and rearwardly to an elevated rear end; a receptacle mountable on the support frame, positioned to receive articles gathered by the gathering means, carried upwardly and rearwardly on the conveyor and discharged therein; a moldboard disposed forwardly of a lower front end of the conveyor, pivotally connected to the support frame; and means for driving the conveyor.

An assembly for detachably connecting an implement having a pair of mounting pins to a machine provided with a dipper stick having a pair of side walls and a mounting pin and a pair of tilt links each having a mounting pin, generally consisting of a first component including a first pair of elongated members each mountable on a side wall of the dipper stick and having an opening for receiving therethrough an end portion of the mounting pin of the dipper stick, means for detachably securing a portion thereof to the dipper stick, means for detachably securing one of the mounting pins of the implement thereto, and means interconnecting such elongated members; and a second component including a second pair of elongated members, each mountable on a side of one of the tilt links, and having an opening for receiving therethrough an end portion of the mounting pin of such one tilt link, means for detachably securing a portion thereof to such one tilt link, means for detachably securing the other of the mounting pins of the implement thereto and means interconnecting the second pair of elongated members together.

Excavator coupler assembly

A coupler assembly for detachably connecting an implement provided with a pair of mounting pins to a machine-having a dipper stick and at least one tilt link, generally consisting of a body pivotally connectable to such dipper stick and such pivot link, a first jaw portion engageable with one of the implement connecting pins and a pair of opposed guide slots; a jaw member mounted on the body and cooperable with the guide slots for displacement along a line of travel, engageable with the other of the implement connecting pins; and structure for displacing the jaw member along such line of travel.
