The invention is a vehicle roof sweeper for the roofs of trucks and trailers that is rollable along the ground. The vehicle roof top sweeper that has retractable wheels and can be rolled using a pickup truck, car, tractor, forklift, or two or three people on foot. An embodiment of the invention is a vehicle roof sweeper having a pair of vertical supports, an upper crossbar connecting the pair of vertical supports, a plow assembly movable along the pair of vertical supports and positionable below the upper crossbar by a first lifting device, a base structure disposed on each of the pair of vertical supports, and retractable wheels positioned on opposite ends of the base structure.

Movable vehicle roof sweeper

The invention is a snow and ice remover for the roofs of trucks and trailers that is rollable along the ground. Two vertical beams and an upper cross piece support a vertically adjustable snow plow assembly, so that when a snow or ice covered truck or trailer moves under the properly positioned plow, the snow or ice is pushed off the top of the vehicle. The entire structure is supported by two horizontal base structures at ground level. The base structures each have wheels on jacks at their ends to permit lifting and rolling the unit. Each base structure also has a platform to hold a ballast weight to prevent movement of the unit when it is lowered to the ground and in use.

Rollable snow and ice remover for vehicle roofs

The apparatus is a snow and ice remover for the roofs of trucks and trailers. A bridge like structure of two vertical beams and an upper cross piece supports a vertically adjustable snow plow assembly which rolls on wheels riding on the vertical beams. A wedge shaped plow forms the lower edge of the snow plow assembly so that when a snow or ice covered truck or trailer moves under the properly positioned plow, the snow or ice is pushed off the top of the vehicle. The snow plow has a minimum height below which it can not be lowered, and the adjustment of the snow plow is powered by a winch on the cross beam which reels in or releases a chain from which the snow plow is hung.
