A cable connector assembly () includes an electrical connector () including an insulative housing (), a number of conductive contacts () received in the insulative housing and a conductive shield () enclosing the insulative housing, a cable () including a number of lines (), a printed circuit board () electrically connecting the conductive contacts of the electrical connector with the lines of the cable, and a shielding member () electrically connecting with the electrical connector and secured with the printed circuit board and the cable. The shielding member forms a number of deflecting members () for securing to a panel () and a number of anti-stress members for preventing the deflecting members from excessive deformation.

Panel mount cable connector assembly

A SATA connector () for being soldered to a printed circuit board (PCB) includes an insulative housing (), a plurality of right angle contacts (), and a pair of board locks (). The insulative housing has a top wall (), a bottom wall (), a pair of side walls () and a rear wall () which together define a mating space (), an L-shaped tongue () extends from the rear wall and into the mating space. The housing has a pair of side walls (), a pair of end walls (), and a bottom wall () which together defining a mating space (), an L-shaped tongue extending from the bottom wall into the mating space. Each contact having an engaging portion () retained in the L-shaped tongue and a press-fit tail () vertically extending beyond the bottom wall adapted for being mounted to the PCB. The housing further comprises a pair of pegs () is integrally formed on the bottom wall of the housing adapted for guiding the press-fit tails mounted into the PCB without damaged.

Serial ATA connector with compliant contact

A preferred embodiment of a mezzanine-type electrical connector comprises a first connector half for mounting on a first circuit substrate. The first connector half comprises a first connector body and a first electrically-conductive member mounted in the first connector body for conducting electrical power from a plurality of locations on the first circuit substrate. A preferred embodiment also comprises a second connector half for mounting on a second circuit substrate and mating with the first connector half. The second connector half comprises a second connector body and a second electrically-conductive member mounted in the second connector body for conducting electrical power to a plurality of locations on the second circuit substrate. The second power contact strip contacts the first power contact strip when the first and second connector halves are mated.

Mezzanine-type electrical connector
