A heater with 360&#xb0; rotation of a heated air stream is provided. The device includes a housing, a motor, an impeller, a heating element, an air stream deflector and a rotational engine. More specifically, the device is directed toward a portable space heater having an outward radial projection of a heated air stream in combination with 360&#xb0; rotational movement for reducing air temperature stratification and uneven heating problems in a room.

A stable portable air moving device capable of generating an air stream elevated above a support surface allowing the air stream to be directed as desired by the user is provided. The device includes an air blower assembly located within an elongate housing generating an exhaust air stream that exits the elongate housing at an elevation above the air blower assembly.

A portable pedestal electric heater apparatus for providing a heated exhaust air stream at an elevation above a support surface comprises a tower electric heater and a support riser for supporting the tower electric heater at an elevation above a support surface. The tower electric heater comprises an elongate housing and at least one interior space within the elongate housing. At least one inlet opening in the elongate housing allows inlet air to enter the at least one interior space. An air blower assembly is disposed within the at least one interior space for receiving the inlet air. An air outlet opening in the housing allows the exhaust air stream to exit the at least one interior space. An electric heating element is disposed within the at least one interior space between the air blower assembly and the air outlet opening such that substantially all of the exhaust air stream passes through the electric heating element and thermal energy is transferred from the electric heating element to the exhaust air stream as the exhaust air stream flows through the electric heating element forming the heated exhaust air stream. An elevation of the heated exhaust air stream is defined by a distance from where the support riser contacts the support surface to a vertical midpoint of the air outlet opening in the housing of the tower electric heater, and the elevation of the heated exhaust air stream is about 14 inches or greater.

A multi-directional air circulation device for use in a living space. The multi-directional air circulation device comprises a first housing having i) a first wall portion defining a first interior space, ii) a first air outlet, and iii) a first air directing grill adjacent to the first air outlet. At least a second housing rotatable with respect to the first housing. The second housing having i) a second a wall portion defining a second interior space, ii) a second air outlet and, and iii) a second air directing grill adjacent to the second air outlet. At least one air generator is placed in the housings and used to generate at least one air stream which is then discharged from said device as at least two independently directed air exhaust streams through the first and second air outlets into said living space.

The present invention is a space saving home comfort device comprising a housing and an air generator. A support member has a predetermined length and a base member has a maximum width dimension BB. A predetermined rise height R provides support and elevation to the housing. The housing is either fixedly or rotatably coupled to an end of the support member and comprises at least one wall having a predetermined length L and a maximum cross-sectional width D taken along a horizontal plane, at least one inlet opening formed in the at least one wall, at least one outlet opening formed in the at least one wall, and an air generator positioned between the at least one inlet opening and the at least one outlet opening. The air generator provides exhaust air to the at least one outlet opening.

A Christmas tree stand for mounting and displaying a Christmas tree, which in one embodiment includes a cylindrical base, a bucket for engagement with the trunk of a tree with slots therein, which bucket is carried in the base, a top cover on the tree trunk, a reservoir base integral with the cylindrical base, a water pan engaged with the base, a water reservoir detachably engaged with an extension of the water pan to supply water thereto, and hold down latches on the base detachably engaged with the top cover to retain the bucket in the base, and for the other embodiment the base directly captures and retains the tree trunk without using the bucket.

A system includes a microcontroller for controlling a fan particularly suited to be mounted in a window. The microcontroller monitors and responds at relatively high sampling rates to the actual and desired temperatures of the room associated with the fan. The microcontroller senses a predetermined difference between the desired and actual temperatures to generate the speed, forward-reverse drive and/or on-off controls of the fan and so that the operation of the fan closely tracks the temperature conditions of the room being serviced by the fan.
