This specification provides a computer-implemented method, the method comprising obtaining a machine-learning model. The machine-learning model is being trained with expert data comprising a plurality of training examples. Each training example comprises: (i) game state data representing a state of a video game environment, and (ii) scored action data representing an action and a score for that action if performed by a video game entity of the video game environment subsequent to the state of the video game environment. An action is performed by the video game entity based on a prediction for the action generated by the machine-learning model. The method further comprises determining whether the action performed by the video game entity was optimal. In response to determining that the action performed by the video game entity was suboptimal, a healed training example is generated. The healed training example comprises: (i) the state of the instance of the video game environment, and (ii) healed scored action data indicative that the action performed by the video game entity was suboptimal. The machine-learning model is updated based on the healed training example.

A transaction processing system suitable for processing a merchant transaction includes a computer having a processor, a memory, a plurality of connections over a network for receiving and settling the merchant transaction; and a separator module operative to separate funds associated with the merchant transaction. The separator module further includes a revenue settlement module operative to settle a revenue portion of the merchant transaction in favor of a first account accessible over the network, the first account being associated with the merchant; a tax settlement module operative to settle the tax portion associated with the merchant transaction in favor of a second account accessible over the network, the second account being different than the first account; and a fee resolution module operative to resolve fees associated with operation of the tax settlement module, such that an amount equal to the tax portion is settled in favor of the second account.

A rebreather apparatus having a gas scrubber canister with a generally oval or elliptical cross section. The canister being configured so that exhaled gases pass through the adsorbent in a radial manner through a generally hollow tube having the same cross sectional shape as the canister. The shape of the canister allows for increasing the volume of the canister relative to round cylinder shaped canisters without making it too cumbersome such that it effects the efficiency of a diver. The canisters have at least one removable end cap and the end caps are configured for housing gas addition and control systems. The rebreather apparatus can be rapidly reconfigured to provide a variety of fully closed or semi closed circuit configurations and it can be reconfigured to be worn in a variety of ways based on tasks to be performed and diver preference.

Rebreather apparatus

This invention relates to modular connector structures that are shaped to receive the edges of printed circuit boards and that have contacts spaced a unit distance apart so that they can engage, separately, each of the contact pads, or fingers, spaced apart by the same unit distance along the surfaces of the boards. In particular, it relates to connector structures that have conversely shaped interlocking parts at their ends to interlock end-to-end with similar structures to form a substantially self-supporting connector that can have any desired number of contacts, each spaced an integral multiple of the same unit distance from all of the contacts on all of the modules.

A vehicle bumper is adapted to provide energy management of impact forces. In a basic embodiment the bumper includes a fascia having a front portion adapted to receive impact forces and upper and lower flanges extending rearwardly from the front portion. A backing member is positioned rearwardly from the fascia and includes means for mounting the bumper on the vehicle. A non-random network can connect a common peripheral device to one of a plurality of computers. Each of these computers has a request line for providing a request signal. The network has a plurality of switching devices, each coupled to the common peripheral device and to a corresponding one of the computers. Each of these switching devices is operable in response to a select signal being applied thereto to transfer data between its corresponding one of the computers and the common peripheral device. The network also has a scanner coupled to the plurality of switching devices for operating them in a predetermined order by sequentially applying to them the select signal. This scanner is operable to cease sequencing and to continue applying the select signal to said switching devices to switch a selected one of the computers in response to a persistence of the request signal from the selected one of the computers. After removing the select signal the scanner can restore the select signal to the same one of the switching devices only after each of the other ones of the switching devices has had temporarily applied to it by the scanner the select signal.
