Methods and systems for capturing and tracking call information relating to a call from a user to a merchant are provided. According to one embodiment of the disclosed subject matter, a request for a call to a merchant from a user on a device is received and a data connection is initiated with a call analytics platform over which user information is sent from the device to the platform. A unique number allowing the device to call the platform is then passed back to the device. The device calls the platform, call context data is captured, and the call is processed to the merchant. Information relating to the user and merchant call is tracked and logged.

Described are a system and method for encouraging communication over a network between participants engaged in a learning activity. A communication channel is opened over the network between participants. An objective shared by the participants is presented. Cooperative interaction between the participants is required to complete the objective. Content related to the objective is displayed to each participant of the learning activity. Messages are exchanged in real-time between the participants over the communication channel to allow the participants to progress cooperatively towards completing the objective. Input from one of the participants of the learning activity is received. The input represents an action taken in response to the exchanged messages. The content displayed to the participants is dynamically updated based on the action taken by one of the participants during the learning activity, to depict progress towards the objective.

Learning activity platform and method for teaching a foreign language over a network

A flare dispensing and igniting system comprising a housing for holding a plurality of flares for dispensing. The housing has side walls, end walls and a bottom wall, and a dispensing opening in the bottom wall. A dispensing plate covers a portion of the dispensing opening, with a closed position adjacent to the dispensing opening for preventing flare movement through the dispensing opening. The dispensing plate is pivotable away from the dispensing opening to permit a flare to pass through the dispensing opening. An ejecting assembly is provided in the housing for ejecting flares from the housing and which includes a plunger assembly for pushing a flare through the dispensing opening and past the dispensing plate. The dispensing plate has an inner surface facing the dispensing opening, and the inner surface has an abrasive texture for abrading the end of a flare as the flare passes through the dispensing opening for igniting the flare as the flare is ejected from the interior of the housing.

A whistling aerosol can for providing a remote indication that the can is being utilized to dispense its contents. The device includes a valve assembly disposed atop a can and being in communication with contents therein. The valve assembly includes a dispensing cap. The dispensing cap has an L-shaped dispensing channel therein. The dispensing channel has a vertical portion extending downwardly into communication with an internal dispensing tube of the can. The dispensing channel has a horizontal portion extending outwardly of the dispensing cap. The horizontal portion has a whistle positioned therein inwardly of an outlet end thereof.

A tamper resistant container that can be readily opened by an elderly person but is difficult for a young child to open comprising a container for holding toxic substances with the container having a latch lip for engaging a cover and a pressure region located at the top of the container and over the latch lip, and a cover for engaging the container to close and seal toxic substances in the container with the container including a slip ring to permit free rotation of the container when the cover on the container is rotated to thereby thwart a young child from opening the tamper resistant container with the cover including a cylindrical lip to latch the cover to the container with the cylindrical lip operable for disengagement of the cover with the container by the user squeezing on a specific region on the outside of the container so that the container flexes inward to disengage the cylindrical lip from the container to thereby permit the user to remove the cover from the container.

Tamper resistant containers

A tamper resistant container that can be readily opened by an elderly person but is difficult for a young child to open comprising a first container for holding toxic substances having a threaded section for engaging a cover and a friction region, a cover having a threaded section for engaging the first container to close and seal toxic substances in the first container, a second container located outside the first container, and including means to permit free rotation of the first container when the cover on the first container is rotated in a direction to unscrew the cover to thereby thwart a young child from opening the tamper resistant container. The second container includes means to prevent rotation of the first container with respect to the second container when the cover is rotated in a direction to unscrew the cover by the user squeezing on specific regions on the outside of the second container so as to prevent rotation of the first container to thereby permit the user to unscrew the cover from the first container.

A swivel connection adapted to be interposed between a motorcycle, or other small vehicle, and a trailer being towed thereby in order to isolate any variation of the vertical orientation of the motorcycle from the trailer. The swivel connection comprises a channel member secured to the usual hitch assembly normally provided for the motorcycle, and a box member secured to the channel member for receiving a spindle member therein. The spindle member is rigidly secured to the box member and extends axially outwardly therefor for rotational connection with a sleeve member secured to the usual tongue provided on the trailer. The rotation connection between the spindle member and sleeve member permits the vertical variations of the motorcycle to be absorbed, thus isolating the trailer therefrom.

Swivel connection for trailers

A simplified catadioptric image erection telescope system of the Gregorian type and having two light axes is described. The system includes a first conventional magnifying refractor as an objective with plural elements which correct for chromatic, spherical and like aberrations and fosuses light on a first axis towards a smaller, flat surfaced, main mirror set at an angel alpha to a perpendicular to the mirror surface and to the focal axis of the objective which establishes an angle of inclination of the main mirror. The main mirror in turn reflects and directs the light on a second focal axis at an angle beta to the first axis where it focuses at F-2 in an inverted image in front of a still smaller secondary concave collecting mirror. The collecting mirror in turn reflects and focuses the light in an elongated focus on the second axis past an oval aperture in the main mirror where the erect image is formed at F-3. The erect image can be viewed with a second magnifying refractor or eyepiece mounted on the second axis as is conventionally used in telescopes or telephoto photographic lenses.
