A chemical anchoring assembly useful for fast application of a driving tool into a borehole includes an elongated tube having a first end and a second end, a quantity of chemical anchoring material within the elongated tube, and a vent at the second end of the elongated tube. As an anchor pin is driven through the elongated tube and into the borehole, forcing the chemical anchoring material into the borehole, some of the pressure caused by compression of the chemical anchoring material is released into the vent, allowing easier driving of the anchor pin.

An anchoring adhesive combination includes a slug or package of chemical anchoring adhesive having a proximal end and a distal end and a rod which can be a penetrator having a pointed proximal end, and open distal end, and a threaded or corrugated outer surface. The pointed proximal end of the penetrator is connected to the distal end of the slug or package of chemical anchoring adhesive so that the pointed proximal end is at least partially surrounded by chemical anchoring adhesive. The open distal end of the penetrator receives a proximal end of an anchor pin to form a combination of anchor pin, penetrator and slug or package of anchoring adhesive in series. By placing the combination adjacent to a borehole and simply pounding a distal end of the anchor pin an integrated method is performed whereby a) anchoring adhesive is released and mixed in the borehole, b) the inner wall of the borehole is scrubbed and scored by the outer surface of the penetrator, and c) the anchor pin is both mechanically anchored in the borehole using the penetrator and chemically anchored using the mixed chemical anchoring adhesive.

An anti-sag management assembly includes a cross member operatively coupled at opposed first and second ends to brackets that are adapted for movable engagement with stationary portions of first and second telescoping slide assemblies. A slider movably engages the cross member. A first arm is operatively coupled to an arm bracket that is adapted for connection to a movable portion of the first telescoping slide assembly and to the slider. A second arm operatively coupled to a second arm bracket that is adapted for connection to the stationary portion of the first telescoping slide assembly and to the slider. Upon extension of the movable portion of the telescoping slide rail assemblies the slider is moved from a first operative position adjacent the second member bracket to a second operative position adjacent the first member bracket and upon retraction of the device the slider is moved from the second operative position to the first operative position.

A telescoping slide rail assembly including interconnected mounting, intermediate and stationary slide rails movable relative to one another to extend and retract the mounting and intermediate slide rails relative to the stationary slide rail between fully extended and retracted positions. The intermediate slide rail includes a latching mechanism for interconnecting the intermediate and stationary slide rails in the fully extended position and the mounting slide rail includes an alignment device to maintain orientation between the mounting slide rail and the intermediate slide rail.

A telescoping slide assembly includes interconnected mounting, intermediate and stationary slide elements movable relative to one another to extend and retract the mounting and intermediate slide elements relative to the stationary slide element between fully extended and retracted positions. The intermediate slide element includes a rib formed therein. A mounting slide lock is disposed substantially within the rib for operative engagement with the mounting slide element to secure the mounting slide element in a fully extended position such that selective release of the mounting slide lock permits the mounting slide element to move to the fully retracted position and to disconnect from the intermediate slide element.
