A hinge assembly includes first and second hinge units and an electrically conductive pin. The first hinge unit is mounted to a door of an enclosure and includes a pin support comprising a barrel, a knuckle, or both, a pin receptacle arranged and rotatable in the pin support, and an electrically conductive structure disposed at least partly inside the pin support and adjacent the pin receptacle. The second hinge unit is carried on the pin and is mountable to a frame structure. The second hinge unit can be removed from the first hinge unit to enable removal of the door. The electrically conductive structure is biased against the pin, remains in contact while the pin rotates, and is electrically connected to the door as the pin rotates while the first hinge unit remains mounted to the door.

Electrical bonding door hinges

A hot/cold aisle containment system includes a frame structure, at least one electronic equipment enclosure installed at least partially within the frame structure, and a header panel assembly. The frame structure is adapted to be at least partially covered by one or more panels to define an interior space and includes a vertical member and a horizontal member. The header panel assembly is installed between a top of the at least one electronic equipment enclosure and the horizontal member of the frame structure to prevent circulation of air above the enclosure. The header panel assembly includes a main panel and at least one seal.

Header panel assembly for preventing air circulation above electronic equipment enclosure

A frame structure for an electronic equipment enclosure includes a pair of front vertical frame members, a pair of rear vertical frame members, and a plurality of horizontal frame members. The plurality of horizontal frame members includes a pair of front horizontal side-to-side members that connect respective upper ends of the pair of front vertical frame members and respective lower ends of the pair of front vertical frame members, thereby forming a front frame; a pair of rear horizontal side-to-side members that connect respective upper ends of the pair of rear vertical frame members and respective lower ends of the pair of rear vertical frame members, thereby forming a rear frame; and at least four horizontal front-to-back members that connect the front frame and the rear frame. At least one of the front vertical frame members and the rear vertical frame members includes a closed profile and a vertical channel extending a length thereof for providing access to an adjustment assembly of a leveling foot, the adjustment assembly being positioned within the vertical channel and outside of the closed profile. At least one of the horizontal side-to-side members and the horizontal front-to-back members is a structural member having a closed profile that includes at least one T-slot channel and at least one recessed groove extending a length thereof, the at least one recessed groove including a row of mounting apertures arranged therein.

Frame structure for electronic equipment enclosure

A cable manager includes a backbone assembly and at least one side wall extending from the backbone assembly. The at least one side wall optionally includes one or more cable finger units. The backbone assembly includes a spine member having an extruded construction. The spine member includes one or more channels extending substantially an entire length thereof to facilitate easy attachment, removal and/or repositioning of a structure relative to the spine member. The cable manager optionally includes an accessory rod, a half-spool assembly, a cable finger accessory, a strap/buckle accessory, and/or a door assembly having an interference-free hinge set.

Features for cable managers and other electronic equipment structures

A hardware assembly for installation in a slide-type mounting rail of an electronic equipment enclosure includes a spring retainer and a generally oblong nut received at least partially within the spring retainer. The spring retainer includes a rear wall and a deflectable spring arm extending in a forward direction from each of first and second opposed ends of the rear wall, with each spring arm extending at least partially inward toward the other spring arm. The nut includes a plurality of cam bosses arranged at a front-facing side thereof. Upon receipt of the clamped nut within a T-slot channel of the slide-type mounting rail, the nut is rotatable relative to the spring retainer to be positionable transversely within the T-slot channel, thereby obstructing the nut from inadvertent separation from the slide-type mounting rail.

Slidable mounting hardware for electronic equipment enclosure

An electronic equipment enclosure includes a frame structure at least partially enclosed by a plurality of panels defining a compartment in which one or more electronic components are mounted and an exhaust air duct that is adapted to segregate hot air being exhausted from the compartment from cool air entering the compartment, thereby improving thermal management of the enclosure. The exhaust duct includes a lower duct section extending upward from the top panel of the compartment and an upper duct section telescoping upward from an upper end of the lower duct section. Each duct section includes four panels connected together by hinged corner fittings such that the section is collapsible. The upper duct section includes an outwardly flared portion.

Ducted exhaust equipment enclosure

An electronic equipment enclosure includes a frame structure and a customizable side air dam kit. The frame structure includes a front frame, a rear frame, front-to-back frame members connecting corners of the front and rear frames together, reinforced bracket structures located near ends of the cross members, and extruded horizontal mounting rails parallel to, but inward from, the front-to-back frame members. The ends of the horizontal mounting rails are connected to the reinforced bracket structures. Panels are installed in longitudinal slots in the front-to-back frame members and horizontal mounting rails, each of which is extruded. The customizable side air dam kit includes a framework of horizontal and vertical frame pieces, adapted to connect to the frame structure, and a customizable air dam panel supported by the framework. A plurality of the frame pieces are provided to an installer for use in constructing the framework to fit the specific frame structure.

Electronic equipment enclosure

A hinge assembly includes first and second hinge units and an electrically conductive pin. The first hinge unit is mounted to a frame structure of an enclosure and includes a pin support comprising a barrel, a knuckle, or both, a pin receptacle arranged in the pin support, and an electrically conductive structure disposed at least partly inside the pin support and adjacent the pin receptacle. The pin rotates in the pin receptacle. The second hinge unit is carried on the pin and is door mounted. The second hinge unit and door can be removed from the first. The electrically conductive structure is biased against the pin and remains in contact while the pin rotates, and is electrically connected to the enclosure when the first hinge unit is mounted to it such that the pin is electrically bonded to the enclosure while the pin rotates.

The header panel assembly includes a pair of panels. A first of the pair of panels is adjustable horizontally relative to a second of the pair of panels, and the pair of panels, together, are adjustable vertically relative to the least one horizontal member.

The at least one recessed groove includes a row of mounting apertures arranged therein.

An electronic equipment structure includes a frame structure having a plurality of interconnected vertical and horizontal frame members, an accessory part including a recessed area and an elongate opening located therein, and a fastener. One of the vertical frame members includes a closed profile and a channel extending a length thereof, and one of the horizontal frame members is a structural member having a closed profile that includes a T-slot channel and a recessed groove extending a length thereof, the recessed groove including a row of mounting apertures arranged therein. The accessory part is arranged such that the recessed area is in alignment with the recessed groove of the structural member. The extending through the elongate opening of the accessory part and one of the mounting apertures of the recessed groove such that the fastener does not protrude beyond an outward-facing surface of the accessory part.

A method of installing an accessory part in an electronic equipment enclosure includes: providing an electronic equipment enclosure having a frame structure that includes a plurality of interconnected vertical and horizontal frame members, wherein at least one of the horizontal frame members includes at least one T-slot channel and at least one recessed groove extending a length thereof, the at least one recessed groove including a row of mounting apertures arranged therein; providing an accessory part including a recessed area and an elongate opening arranged in the recessed area; positioning the accessory part such that the recessed area is aligned within the at least one recessed groove; and arranging a fastener through the elongate opening of the accessory part and a selected one of the mounting apertures of the at least one recessed groove such that the fastener does not protrude beyond an outward-facing surface of the accessory part.

A hardware assembly for installation in a slide-type mounting rail of an electronic equipment enclosure includes a spring retainer and a hardware component received at least partially within the spring retainer. The spring retainer has a rear wall and a deflectable spring arm extending in a forward direction from each end of the rear wall. Each spring arm includes a distal end that extends inward toward the distal end of the other spring arm. The hardware component includes a generally oblong head and a plurality of cam bosses arranged at a front-facing side thereof. Each spring arm engages and is partially deflected outward by a respective one of the cam bosses, thereby clamping the hardware component within the spring retainer. Upon receipt of the hardware component within a T-slot channel of the slide-type mounting rail, the generally oblong head is rotatable relative to the spring retainer to position the generally oblong head transversely within the T-slot channel, thereby obstructing the hardware component and the spring retainer from inadvertent removal.
