A package includes a container and a closure cap for mounting on the container. The closure cap is coupled to a neck of the container to block selectively removal of product stored within the container at the selection of a user.

Closure

A dispensing closure with a rotational stop that limits the rotation of the closure and generally prevents removal of the closure from the container. The dispensing closure may include a cap body operably engaging a fitment and a container finish. When the cap body is rotated about the container finish, the interior abutment surface of the recessed squeeze pad engages a lug stop located on the container finish so as to limit the rotation, thereby preventing removal of the cap body from the container finish.

Closure with rotational stop

A dispenser closure is provided having an upper wall portion with at least one opening therein and having a thread depending from an inner annular surface thereof. A lower wall portion of the closure has at least two lugs depending from a lower inner annular surface thereof having a configuration and size to cooperate with at least one stop lock depending from a container neck and at least one of the cooperating closure lugs does not cooperate with the cooperating stop lock when the lower wall portion is deformed by a squeezing force.

Dispensing closure with child resistant feature

The dispensing closure is provided having a stopping mechanism that limits the rotation of the closure and generally prevents removal of the closure from the container. The dispensing closure includes a cap body, fitment, and container finish. The cap body has a double shell design, which includes at least one drop lug reverse tapered from the inner shell. When the cap body is rotated about the container finish, the reverse tapered drop lug engages at least one lug stop located on the container finish so as to limit the rotation, thereby preventing removal of the cap body from the container finish. The reverse taper of the drop lug maximizes the abutment surface and stability of the drop lug when engaging the corresponding lug stop.

A dispenser closure is provided having a stopping mechanism that limits the rotation of the closure and generally prevents removal of the closure cap from the container. The dispenser closure includes a cap body, fitment and container finish. The cap body has a double shell design, which includes at least one drop lug projecting from the inner shell. When the cap body is rotated about the container finish, the drop lug engages at least one lug stop located on the container finish so as to limit the rotation, thereby preventing removal of the cap body from the container finish.

A closure for use on a container having an externally threaded neck is disclosed wherein an inner surface of a downwardly depending skirt portion of the closure cap includes a helical thread having a flat upper surface with a lower thread profile having a first depth greater than an upper thread profile of a second depth. The helical thread of the closure tapers into the sidewalk of the closure skirt. The closure is provided with a seal integral with the inner surface of the skirt, spaced from a top wall of the closure, and retained at a lowermost point along the downwardly depending skirt by a bead.

Closure having an improved thread design

A bottle having a modified neck and intended for use with a child-resistant closure which allows the user to open the bottle without removing the closure completely from the bottle is described. The neck includes at least one locking lug and at least one anti-removal ring. The anti-removal ring is positioned between the lug and the open end of the neck. The neck may further include at least one deformation recess, with the deformation recess being adjacent to and radially offset from the locking lug. The ring and recess are intended to deter the user from bypassing the child-resistant safety features of the bottle and removing the closure completely from the bottle.
