A dock stabilizing pile guide device includes a frame attached to a floating dock and enclosing a respective piling. The frame carries a plurality of rollers that rotatably interengage the piling and guide the dock upwardly and downwardly along the piling as the depth of the underlying water changes.

An illuminated guide pole for a watercraft-supporting structure includes an elongate LED light source enclosed within a waterproof housing mounted to the supporting structure. The housing includes a transparent pipe for surrounding the LED light source. The light source is electrically connected to a source of power and may include an LED whip light device.

A waler assembly for floating docks and walkways includes an elongate metal extrusion for engaging the side of a series of adjoining float components. The extrusion includes a compartment for conformably receiving an elongate wedge. Connector rods join the extrusion and wedge to the float components. The extrusion carries an elongate strengthening plate that extends across the compartment of the extrusion. Each of the extrusion, wedge and strengthening plate includes a plurality of discrete segments that are aligned end to end. The joints between adjoining segments of the waler assembly are offset to provide improved structural integrity of the waler assembly and the floating dock or walkway.

A system for preventing fouling of submerged hydraulic cylinder actuators includes a pneumatic line communicably connected to a protective bellows element surrounding the cylinder rod of the actuator mechanism. As the cylinder rod extends from the cylinder housing of the mechanism and the bellows element expands, filtered air is drawn into the bellows element. Water and accompanying contaminants are prevented from entering the bellows and interfering with operation of the hydraulic actuator mechanism.

A watercraft bunk assembly includes a lower base that is secured to a support post of a boat lift or other boat supporting structure. A separate upper base is slidably interengaged with the lower base. The upper base is configured to carry a cushion component at an angular inclination for engaging and supporting a boat or other watercraft. Various upper bases having different respective configurations may be interchangeably engaged with the lower base, which enables the bunk assembly to be used for supporting a number of different types of boats and hull configurations.

A winder cable guard includes a generally flat plate that is attached to an inwardly facing surface of the outer support bearing in a winder mechanism. The plate is sized and configured to fit within and seal the clearance gap between the outer end of the winder drum and the outer support bearing. This prevents a cable being wound onto the winder drum from slipping or falling into the gap. The potential for jamming and/or breakage of the lift cable is thereby reduced.

Novel cable tie-off devices for watercraft lift assemblies are disclosed and claimed herein. In certain embodiments, the cable tie-off devices are mounted onto the vertical pilings of the watercraft lift assembly without the use of bolts or other fasteners that directly penetrate the outer surface of the vertical pilings.

A novel cable-tie off device for cable lifting assemblies (e.g. elevators and boat lifts) is disclosed herein. The device is an elongated member having, in a series, a head portion, a elongated shank portion, and an end portion. Immediately subjacent the head portion is a hole for maintaining the proximal end of a lifting cable therein. The elongated member is designed for engagement within a pair of holes drilled, in registration, through the spool of a winder assembly. When engaged within the spool holes, the elongated member securely maintains the proximal cable end held within the member between the head portion of the member and the outer surface of the spool. A fastener is secured to the end portion of the member to tightly maintain the member within the spool.

The present invention is directed to novel watercraft lift assemblies comprising, in certain embodiments, single motor and dual motor/winch assemblies secured to the dock-side portion of the support structure. The present invention does not require the use of top frames for carrying cable shafts necessary to lift the frame supporting the watercraft.

An electrical connector of the resilient spring type for resiliently clamping together first and second conductors. The connector includes a frame into which a screw can be threadedly advanced. The conductor-contacting edge of the screw includes a cavity from which protrudes a coiled spring. A conductor pad has a shaft extending therefrom which is received within the coils of the spring. When the screw is tightened against the conductors, the spring is compressed. If the conductors later deform under the compressive force of the screw, the spring uncoils and forces the conductor pad to maintain a strong clamping force on the conductors.

An apparatus for manually moving and steering a small boat, or the like, in both forward and reverse and all directions, which is mounted on the transom or stern of the boat, having a steering post rotated by a tiller 360.degree. in a horizontal plane, with the tiller mounted for up and down pivotal pumping motion to activate laterally connected blades mounted on the lower end of the steering post, with the blades being horizontally joined for flexible return on the non-power stroke and with no flexing on the power stroke, resembling the action of a duck's foot during swimming, each of said blades having a series of individual windows opening to lessen the resistance or drag on the flexing return or non-power stroke and closing for full resistance on the power stroke.
