The invention provides a mould core and injection moulding apparatus for the production of a preform using a mould core which in the zone for defining the neck part of the preform comprises a combination of a raised portion and a shallow groove with a depth of 0.01 to 1 mm provided in the raised portion, for defining an internal attachment means in the neck of the preform. The invention also provides a preform and a container made from the preform, with internal attachment means in the neck. The internal attachment means is carried out rotation symmetrically with respect to the longitudinal axis of the preform. The combinations with an insert piece, preferably a pouring spout, flexible hose or dosing cap, have also been described. Furthermore, the invention provides an injection moulding method for the preform production and a stretch blow moulding method for the container production.

A multi-layered pressure packaging comprises a first container including a lockable neck portion followed by a body part and a bottom part, obtained from a non-foamed thermoplastic material by stretch blow molding, and a first layer at least enclosing the body part and/or bottom part of the first container. The first layer comprises foamed material, and the foamed material layer is foamed in place with an outer enclosure applied over and around the first container defining a free space in between, and foamable material introduced and foamed between the first container and the outer enclosure in the free space, obtaining the foamed material layer. A second layer is applied on the outer surface of the foamed layer for keeping the foamed layer and the first container together. Methods are provided for manufacturing a multi-layered pressure packaging according to an embodiment.

A combination of a sonotrode and anvil, includes a sonotrode/anvil surface and a first row of sonotrode/anvil welding contact elements. The first/second series of each of the sonotrode/anvil welding contact element of a first row includes a first/second adapted lateral surface that joins at least one part of the first/second plateau surface with at least one part of the sonotrode/anvil surface side. The first/second adapted lateral surface includes a first/second curved surface positioned between the first/second plateau surface and the first/second substantially straight surface. The first/second curved surface has a convex outward arch. The welding contact element is positioned in relation to the anvil welding contact element such that the sonotrode welding contact element is positioned during welding next to the anvil welding contact element and is provided to form at least one part of a weld seam.

A blow mould includes at least first and second blow mould elements that inscribe a concavity; and at least one insert having an embossed surface to form a pattern onto a blow-moulded surface. The at least one insert is attached onto a surface of at least one of the first and/or second blow mould elements to form a part of the wall of the blow-moulded product. Such blow mould is an ISBM blow mould and the blow mould is such that the at least one insert is a plate having a wall thickness of between 0.2 mm and 2.0 mm and is attached onto at least one of the first and/or second blow mould elements by a reversible fixation mechanism selected from the group of adhesives, preferably a double-sided adhesive tape, a magnet and a geometric mechanism.

Injection molding apparatus for manufacturing hollow objects, in particular plastic preforms, resp. containers and method therefor

Preform for the blow moulding of a container comprising a neck section () including a pouring opening (), an adjacent wall section () and a bottom section (). It consists of a primary plastic raw material in a primary area (A, A, A) and at least one secondary material in at least a secondary area (B, B, B) both having a mutually different coloration. Said preform is remarkable in that said bottom section () is composed of a multi-layer structure with primary layers composed of said primary plastic material, and additional secondary layers (). The latter are composed of said secondary material, two surface secondary layers the one of which () is directed outwardly respective the preform, whereas the other one () is directed inwardly, and an intermediate secondary layer between them (), which constitutes a core layer, which is located between two said primary layers. Said preform is in one single piece, the transition (Z, Z) from said primary to said secondary material being seamless and uninterrupted. The invention further relates to a manufacturing method of said preform.

Preform for the blow-molding of a container comprising a neck section (), an adjoining wall section () having a substantially cylindrical shape, with in between a neck ring () as a transition region, and further a bottom section () which forms the base of the preform, which is composed of a multilayer structure consisting in two surface layers, the one of which () is directed outwardly respective the preform and wherein the other () is directed inwardly with respect thereto, with in between an intermediate layer () which forms a core layer, wherein both surface layers () are composed of a primary material and wherein said intermediate layer () is composed of a secondary material, remarkable in that the center surface of said intermediate layer () is directed outwardly, toward the outer surface, with respect to the center surface of said wall section () and in that said primary and secondary materials respectively are mutually different. This invention further relates to a method for producing the aforementioned preform. Microorganismus are mixed into the polymers to improve material properties.
