A wheelchair lifting apparatus attachable beneath an undercarriage of a vehicle. The apparatus includes a frame positionable directly beneath and attachable to the undercarriage, a carriage slidably carried for horizontal movement on the frame lateral to the vehicle, and a lifting platform slidably carried on the frame in end-to-end proximity to the carriage for horizontal movement dependent upon movement of the carriage. An actuator is connected between the frame and the carriage and being operably arranged to effect movement of the carriage and the platform between the retracted and extended position of the platform. The frame and the actuator are cooperatively configured with the platform to lower and raise the platform while in the extended position with the wheelchair and user thereatop.

Wheelchair lifting apparatus

A portable universal apparatus for seating a bead of a wide range of tire sizes onto a rim. An upright support frame includes a rim support surface and a rim retainer for securing the rim in a generally horizontal position atop the rim support surface. A tubular air ring includes an air inlet port connectable to an air tank and is vertically adjustably supportable on the support frame. A plurality of inwardly oriented air discharge tubes connectable to the air ring and selectable from different sets of lengths thereof cooperate with the vertical adjustability of the air ring to position the distal end of each of discharge tube in close proximity between a lower rim seal and a lower sealing bead of the tire to force the lower sealing downwardly into sealing engagement with the lower rim seal when compressed air is released from the air tank into the air ring and air discharge tubes.

Tire bead seating and inflating apparatus

A pair of specified metal glasses for displaying removable magnetic printed matter includes a frame for supporting the lens of the pair of glasses. The frame is of a predetermined thickness for displaying removable printed matter thereon. Temples are provided for extending from the frame for supporting the glasses relative to a wearer's ears. The temples are of a predetermined thickness for displaying removable printed matter thereon. A retaining member is provided for temporarily retaining printed matter relative to at least the frame or the temples for predominantly displaying the printed matter for viewing by others. The retaining member may include a plurality of grooves disposed within a thickness of the frame and temples for mating with corresponding projections extending from the removable printed matter. The retaining member may include a plurality of projections extending from the frame and temples for mating with corresponding grooves disposed within a thickness of the removable printed matter. The retaining member may be a specified metal wherein the removable printed matter is attracted to and temporarily retained on the frames and temples of the glasses.

Magnetic removable display for eyeglasses

A draw rate signal generator for an atmospheric crude distillation unit receiving crude oil and providing streams 1 through 5 and a reduced crude oil includes flow rate sensors sensing the flow rates of the crude oil and of streams 1 through 4 and providing corresponding signals. Analyzers sample the crude oil and provide signals corresponding to the 35% point temperature, the API gravity and the vapor pressure of the crude oil. End point analyzers sample streams Nos. 1 and 3 and provide signals representative of the end point temperatures of streams Nos. 1 and 3, respectively. 50% point analyzers sample streams 2, 3 and 4 and provide signals corresponding to the 50% point temperatures of streams Nos. 2, 3 and 4, respectively. A circuit connected to the sensors, to the crude analyzers, to the end point analyzers and to the 50% analyzers provide signals corresponding to the draw rates for streams Nos. 1 through 5 in accordance with signals from the sensors and analyzers.

Draw rate signal generator

A measuring system provides a signal corresponding to the Saybolt viscosity of a hydrocarbon stream for a desired temperature. The signal is recorded by a recorder. The measuring system includes sensors sensing the temperature, the gravity and the kinematic viscosity of the hydrocarbon stream. A computing circuit provides the signal corresponding to the Saybolt viscosity in accordance with the signals from the sensors.
