A liner or core pipe which is suitable for insertion into a host pipe, the core pipe including, in certain aspects, a pipe made of temperature-resistant corrosion-resistant material and having an outer surface, an inner surface, a first end and a second end and a flow channel therethrough from the first end to the second end; first and second strengthening wraps around the pipe; a plurality of spaced-apart pulling tapes on the pipe; the pipe deformable to facilitate insertion into a host pipe, and a protective outer wrap on the pipe. Methods and systems for in situ pipe lining

An apparatus for wrapping material onto and around a pipe, the apparatus including a shaft, the shaft rotatable by a driving apparatus, a payout core containing material to be wrapped onto a pipe, the payout core releasably mounted on the shaft, a deflection arm assembly secured to the shaft for rotation by the shaft, rotation of the shaft rotating the deflection arm assembly with respect to the payout core so that the deflection arm assembly takes material from the payout core and wraps the material onto a pipe adjacent the deflection arm assembly, each of the shaft and deflection arm assembly having a central opening through which is movable the pipe as the pipe is being wrapped.

Systems and methods for making pipe liners

A multi-function valve assembly for controlling fluid flow through a single cavity, the valve assembly being particularly suited for use with an inflatable packer in a well bore. The valve assembly includes a control valve sliding piston in one end of a cavity such as a cavity in an inflatable packer, the cavity communicating between the interior of a tubular (such as well casing) and an annulus between the tubular and a wellbore in which the tubular is positioned. The control valve sliding piston isolates the packer until a certain predetermined pressure is reached, at which point it moves in response to the pressure of the fluid in the casing, thereby permitting flow of fluid from the casing into an inflatable bladder in the packer. An over-pressure piston disposed in the same cavity senses the packer inflation pressure and moves the control valve piston to close the valve, halting further inflation. A balancing locking stem is mounted within the cavity and both the control valve piston and the overpressure piston move in the cavity about this stem. The stem moves into the recess of an annulus gland in response to the action of the control valve piston.

Valve assembly for inflatable packer

An apparatus and method for inserting flow control means into a well casing is disclosed. A receptacle having portions adapted to receive check valve means is mounted within said well casing and said well casing is inserted into a well. Check valve means may be pumped down into engagement with said receptacle to regulate the flow of fluid through the well casing. Alternatively, choke valve means may be pumped down into engagement with said receptacle instead of check valve means. The choke valve means may be constructed having portions adapted to receive check valve means so that check valve means may be pumped down into engagement with said choke valve means to regulate the flow of fluid through the well casing.
