The tire-mounted step stool is a step is adapted for use with a tire of a vehicle. When the tire-mounted step stool is secured to the tire, the tire-mounted step stool forms a platform upon which a person can step to gain access to the roof or engine compartment of the vehicle. The tire-mounted step stool comprises a first panel, a second panel, a first steel bar, a second steel bar, and a plurality of hinges. The first steel bar and the second steel bar are used to attach the first panel to the second panel. The plurality of hinges is used to make the stated attachments in such a manner that the tire-mounted step stool is collapsible.

Tire-mounted step stool

An apparatus is provided for supplying solder balls to a receptacle. The apparatus includes a reservoir for storing the solder balls and a flow path. The flow path includes a first end connected to and in fluid communication with the reservoir and a second end for supplying the solder balls to the receptacle. The apparatus includes a flow actuator in fluid communication with the flow path to actuate the flow of the solder balls from the reservoir through the flow path to the receptacle. A trap is disposed in the flow path for trapping the solder balls and stopping the flow of the solder balls to the receptacle when the flow actuator is not actuated. Related methods are also disclosed.

Apparatus for supplying solder balls

The array of recesses in a ball grid array carrier or (device) are populated with solder balls through a closely spaced tooling plate or stencil which has a like array of apertures. A solder bin is moved along side rails over the stencil allowing solder balls to fill the apertures in the stencil settling on the corresponding recesses and held there by adhesive. Excess solder balls are moved along by the movement of the bin. The bin is held in close contact with the stencil to avoid misplacement of the balls by bowing the stencil and by forcing it into a plane coplanar with the bottom of the bin. Alternative techniques are magnetic or vacuum areas of the bottom of the bin to ensure complete contact with the stencil.

Apparatus and method for filling a ball grid array

The current invention relates to a lens surfacing assembly and a method for grinding and polishing glass or plastic optical lenses. The assembly is primarily intended for use with a rigid lapping tool and a typical lens grinding machine. The lens surfacing assembly comprises a strippable adhesive member that is attached to the lapping tool for use throughout the grinding and polishing operation for attachment of a reversible, double sided lens surfacing pad having a coarse surface on one side and a fine surface on the other. After the grinding has been completed, the reversible pad is removed and a polishing cloth is attached to the adhesive member. The combined thickness of the pad and the adhesive member is equal to the compensation designed into the radius of curvature of the lapping tool arcuate surface. The combined thickness of the polishing cloth and the adhesive member is also equal to the compensation designed into the lapping tool.

Lens surfacing assembly

A lens block used to secure an opthalmic lens during its formation by conventional forming equipment wherein the lens block comprises an integrally formed single piece structure of hardened metal material having centering means including a plurality of linearally aligned apertures each having a substantially conical configuration formed directly in the surface of the lens block oppositely disposed to the surface which is interconnected to the lens itself. The lens block is formed from a powdered metal material comprised of hard metal alloys which is sintered and heat treated to attain a desired condition of particle hardness in the upper range of the Rockwell C Scale.
