A process comprising continuously contacting with a catalyst, under polymerization conditions, ethylene or a mixture comprising ethylene and one or more alpha-olefins in a first fluidized bed reactor and a mixture comprising ethylene and one or more alpha-olefins in a second fluidized bed reactor, the first and second reactors being connected in series, said catalyst comprising:

High density, high molecular weight polyethylene

A process for improving bubble stability, reducing film gauge variation and reducing melt fracture during extrusion and formation of film from a high density polyolefin of molecular weight above 225,000 to about 450,000 which comprises blending with said polyolefin about 0.1 to about 0.8% of an acrylic polymer polymerized from a monomer system comprising at least 50% by weight of methyl methacrylate.

Paraloid extrusion aids for high molecular weight HDPE film resins

A process for extrusion comprising extruding, under conditions which will provide a shrink film, a linear low density copolymer of ethylene and at least one alpha-olefin having 3 to 6 carbon atoms, said copolymer having (i) a density in the range of about 0.915 to about 0.932 grams per cubic centimeter; (ii) a weight average molecular weight of at least about 250,000, (iii) a ratio of weight average molecular weight to number average molecular weight of at least about 6; and (iv) a copolymer species with a molecular weight of at least about 500,000 in an amount of at least about 8 percent by weight based on the weight of the copolymer.

Process for extrusion

An ethylene polymer film forming composition comprising an ethylene polymer and from about 450 to about 6000 ppm preferably 500 to 5000 ppm of metal salt of a fatty acid having from 7 to 22 carbon atoms and from about 300 to 7000 ppm preferably 500 to 4000 ppm of an antiblocking agent.
