A connector includes a connector body including a hole, a contact disposed in the hole and arranged such that, when the connector is connected to a substrate, the contact is connected to a corresponding electrical pad on the substrate, a conductive elastomeric interface arranged such that, when the connector is connected to the substrate, the conductive elastomeric interface is between the connector body and the substrate, and a cable connected to the contact. The contact includes a ground ferrule and a locking ferrule arranged to mate with the hole, and the hole of the connector body and the locking ferrule are at least partially threaded. When the connector is connected to the substrate and when the locking ferrule is threaded with the hole, the ground ferrule contacts at least one of the conductive elastomeric interface and the upper surface of the substrate.

A contact includes a body section, a tail section arranged at a lower portion of the body section, a peg extending from the tail section such that the peg projects from a front surface of the contact, and a fusible member attached to the contact such that the peg protrudes into the fusible member. A lower portion of the fusible member is offset from a main portion of the fusible member.

A connector system includes a first substrate, a second substrate, and a standoff arranged between the first substrate and the second substrate. The standoff includes a first part with an external threading and a second part with an internal threading configured to engage with the external threading of the first part. The first part is configured to engage with the first substrate, the second part is configured to engage with the second substrate, and the external threading of the first part and the internal threading of the second part are configured such that the first part and the second part are configured to be unscrewed from each other to cause the distance between the first and second substrates to increase.

Two-piece unmate-assist standoff

A plug housing preferably includes an upper housing and a lower housing defining a cavity and a latch portion arranged to be pivotable about the plug housing and including a pair of actuator beams. Respective ones of the pair of actuator beams are preferably arranged to be directly opposed to respective side surfaces of the plug housing. The latch portion is preferably arranged to be connected to the upper housing and the lower housing through a pair of projection portions or a pair of pivot holes arranged on opposite ones of the pair of actuator beams of the latch portion. The latch portion is preferably pivotable about the plug housing at a position corresponding to the pair of projection portions or the pair of pivot holes. The latch preferably includes a catch mechanism and a spring mechanism connected to a forward plate without contacting the pair of actuator beams.
