A power conversion system includes a power conversion apparatus and a programming support apparatus connected to the power conversion apparatus. The power conversion apparatus includes power conversion circuitry, program storage that stores a control program configured to control the power conversion circuitry, and a control unit that controls the power conversion circuitry according to a control program. The programming support apparatus includes a display data generation unit that generates display data of a block diagram illustrating a content of the control program using a plurality of functional blocks, and a link indicating input and output of information between the functional blocks based on the control program stored in the program storage.

The first control mode is different from the first option and the first additional option.

A padded glasses clip apparatus for preventing misplacement or damage to glasses includes a clip body comprising an upper clip and a lower clip pivoting on a pivot rod between a closed position and an open position. A variable frequency motor drive comprises a converter including a rectifier having an input for connection to an AC power source and converting the AC power to DC power. A DC bus is connected to the rectifier circuit. At least one bus capacitor is across the DC bus. An inverter receives DC power from the DC bus and converts the DC power to AC power to drive a motor. A controller is operatively connected to the converter. The controller comprises a speed control controlling the inverter responsive to a speed command to maintain a desired motor speed. A speed foldback control measures DC bus ripple voltage and regulates the speed command responsive to the measured DC bus ripple voltage.

A Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) supplies power to rotate a motor, controlling both the speed and direction. The method normally used for this power conversion by the VFD results in energy losses and line harmonics. When the motor is driven by the VFD to be rotating at the same speed and direction as if the motor was straight across the incoming AC power, a transfer in power supply to the motor can be made using contactors to bypass the VFD. When in this bypass mode, the energy losses of the VFD are greatly reduced, and the line harmonics due to the VFD are greatly reduced. When it is subsequently recognized that the speed reference has deviated from being the same speed and direction as if the motor was straight across the incoming AC power, a transfer in power supply can be made from using contactors to once again drive the motor from the VFD.

The carrying assembly is comprised of a device support member having a first spring coupled thereto for receiving the communication device and a clip mechanism coupled thereto for mounting the carrier assembly on a user's belt or other article of clothing. The clip mechanism comprises a clip support member, a pin, a clip, a second spring and a cap. One end of clip support member includes an opening with a plurality of grooves arranged in a circular array. The device support member is rotatably attached to the clip support member of the clip mechanism such that when the user rotates the device support member with respect to the clip mechanism, first spring moves from one of the plurality of grooves to another of the plurality of grooves and locks into position.
