A system for predicting injuries includes a plurality of sensors configured to generate sensor data and an apparatus having an input-output interface and a processor coupled to the input-output interface and wherein the processor is coupled to a memory, the memory having stored thereon executable instructions that when executed by the processor cause the processor to effectuate operations including receiving the sensor data, applying analytics to the sensor data, based on the applying step, predicting a likely injury, and transmitting a report based on the predicting step.

System and method for estimating potential injuries from a vehicular incident

In one example, a processor may receive a first request to process a first task, the first request including a first estimated central processing unit utilization for the first task and a first estimated memory utilization for the first task and receive central processing unit capacities and memory capacities of a plurality of sub-data routers including at least a first sub-data router. The processor may further determine that the first sub-data router has a lowest central processing unit capacity from among the plurality of sub-data routers that is sufficient to accommodate the first estimated central processing unit utilization for the first task and determine that the first sub-data router has a memory capacity that is sufficient to accommodate the first estimated memory utilization for the first task. The processor may then assign the first task to the first sub-data router.

Task allocation among devices in a distributed data storage system

In one example, a processing system may identify a type of data contained in a first dataset that is to be stored in a storage array, wherein the storage array comprises a plurality of storage zones, and wherein the plurality of storage zones includes at least two different types of storage technologies. The processing system may generate a metadata file for the first dataset that contains self-describing information for the first dataset, wherein the metadata file is generated based on the type of the data, and wherein the self-describing information defines a manner, a time, and a location for storing the first dataset. The processing system may send the first dataset to a first storage zone of the plurality of storage zones, wherein the self-describing information includes an instruction to send the first dataset to the first storage zone for at least a defined period of time.

Record information management based on self-describing attributes

A domain and a mobile device may exchange data via a radio access node included in a mobile network. During a time of peak demand, a data load level of the radio access node may exceed a threshold. To accommodate the peak demand, historical types and volumes of data may be used to manage a data rate related to data associated with the domain. Based on the historical information, the data rate for a mobile device, a radio access node, a range of time, or a data type may be controlled. The data rate may be managed by a network gateway, such as a gateway included in the mobile network.

Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, identifying, during a CPU's execution of a first program, a branching instruction of the first program that redirects execution to a second program. Responsive to the identifying of the branching instruction, a return address of a next instruction of the first program is encrypted. The encrypted return address is transferred to the second program without the CPU retaining a record of the return address. The encrypted return address is received from the second program responsive to its completion of execution. The received encrypted return address is decrypted to obtain the return address enabling a resumption of execution of the first program from the next instruction. Other embodiments are disclosed.

Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, applying a setting voltage across first and second electrodes, wherein a nanowire with a first electrical resistance is electrically connected between the first and second electrodes, wherein the applying of the setting voltage causes a migration of ions from the first and/or second electrodes to a surface of the nanowire, and wherein the migration of ions effectuates a reduction of electrical resistance of the nanowire from the first electrical resistance to a second electrical resistance that is lower than the first electrical resistance; and applying a reading voltage across the pair of electrodes, wherein the reading voltage is less than the setting voltage, and wherein the reading voltage is sufficiently small such that the applying of the reading voltage causes no more than an insignificant change of the electrical resistance of the nanowire from the second electrical resistance. A method includes receiving, at an access point, an access request from a first device after an expiration of a first passcode. The access request is encrypted based on the first passcode. The method includes making a determination by the access point before an expiration of a usage time of a first passcode usage list that an identifier of the first device is included in the first passcode usage list. The method also includes, in response to making the determination, generating, at the access point, data representing a second passcode by encrypting the second passcode using the first passcode; and sending the data representing the second passcode from the access point to the first device.

Concepts and technologies are disclosed herein for mobile network handling of simultaneous data usage session records. A system can include a network session server that has a processor and a memory storing instructions that configure a processor to perform operations. The operations can include obtaining, from a session probe within a core network device, a raw mobile data set associated with a user equipment. The operations can include determining that the user equipment engages in a simultaneous usage session based on the raw mobile data set. The operations can include identifying targeted domains that are present within the raw mobile data set, and creating a raw session record for each of the targeted domains associated with the simultaneous usage session.

Wireless fidelity (Wi-Fi) devices that are not associated with a specific wireless carrier can be contractually operated as an extension of the specific Wi-Fi carrier. In this case, a display screen of a mobile device, that is currently communicating with the Wi-Fi device as an extension of the carrier, can display the carrier info. The display can be a result of a comparison between an internal mobile device data store and/or an external list that comprises the Wi-Fi devices that are acting as extensions of the carrier for a 5G network.

A mobile communications device may determine whether to report information regarding operation of the mobile device on a mobile network. The determination may be based on a reporting parameter set by a network control device and received via a broadcast message from a radio access node. The mobile device may compare the value of the reporting parameter to a randomly generated number. Based on the comparison, the mobile device may determine whether or not to provide information regarding operation of the mobile device or the radio access node to the network control device. The network control device may adjust the value of the reporting parameter to control the likelihood that a mobile device will report.

Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, capturing first monitoring information associated with an audience that is viewing a presentation, determining an actual audience engagement level by performing pattern recognition on the first monitoring information, comparing the actual audience engagement level with an expected audience engagement level to generate an engagement score for the presentation, and transmitting, to a device, a haptic feedback according to the engagement score during the presenting of the presentation.
