An adjustable bracket device for selectively mounting on buildings a plurality of rain gutters of different sizes and shapes, includes a base having an elongate mounting member and an integral arm member projecting outwardly therefrom. An extension member is attachable to the arm member in multiple overlapping relationships forming the assembled arm and extension members of differing collective lengths. The base is disposed within a selected gutter in a substantially vertical orientation with the mounting member abutted against the back wall of the gutter and is secured to a vertical building wall via a fastener penetrated through mounting member and through the back wall of the gutter. The collective overlapping length of the arm and extension members is selected to conform to the width of the selected gutter to extend laterally across the full channel width of the gutter into supporting engagement with the front wall of the gutter.

Adjustable bracket device for selectively mounting rain gutters on buildings

A system for blocking an edge of a building roof structure, e.g., roof structures of cementitious material poured over a corrugated deck or roof structures of rigid insulative panels supported on a corrugated deck, comprises an elongate U-shaped base member for affixation to the deck along the roof edge, an elongate cover member of inverted U-shape for affixation over the base member, the base and cover members being made of galvanized steel or other suitable non-wood material and, as assembled together, forming an auxiliary perimeter structure on the roof structure for border containment of the roofing material.

Roof edge blocking system

A coping or fascia assembly for a flat or raised building roof edge, parapet wall, cant dam, gravel stop or the like resiliently maintains the coping or fascia assembly in a tight-fitting interlocking installation and has a locator member beneath the coping or fascia cap for maintaining at least a portion of the outer coping cap in a predetermined cross-sectional shape and in an accurate alignment between adjacent sections of the coping cap. The locator member has a free-floating side edge in order to allow it to yield during installation of the coping or fascia cap. The preferred triangular locator member is generally symmetrical with respect to a line normal to the face of the wall, dam stop or other raised roof protrusion. The coping assembly is quicker, easier, and less costly to install than prior such structures and provides enhanced protection for interior or underlying components or structures.

A roofing system having preferred metallic roofing panels overlying a roof structure or a substrate (such as a waterproof membrane) includes a mat of loosely-woven ventilation mesh material between the panels and the roof structure or substrate in order to provide proper ventilation, thus minimizing corrosion resulting from condensed moisture. The mesh is preferably composed of an extruded thermosetting plastic material.

Ventilated roofing system

A coping assembly is disclosed for a parapet wall on a building structure that can accommodate varying or inconsistent wall widths, with the parapet wall having generally vertical inner and outer vertical surfaces interconnected by a generally horizontal upper surface. Coping assemblies according to the present invention include a preferred resilient clip member, a clip attachment device for attaching the clip member to the parapet wall, a fascia member, a top plate member, and a top plate anchoring device for anchoring the top plate to the parapet wall. The fascia member and the top plate member have overlapping or telescoping portions that provide for the feature by which various wall widths or thicknesses can be accommodated.
