A cold tray for a container may have an interior. The cold tray may include a cold tray housing mountable within the container interior. A refrigerant may be mounted to the cold tray housing. An air flow source may be fluidly connectable to the cold tray housing and may draw air from the container interior into the cold tray housing such that the air passes over the refrigerant and is discharged back into the container interior.

Apparatus and methods for cabinet devices for lavatories are provided. In one embodiment, a method for resupplying a lavatory in an aircraft includes removing a first amenities module from an amenities cabinet in the lavatory; and inserting a second amenities module into the amenities cabinet, wherein the first and second amenities modules include a plurality of amenity compartments. In another embodiment, a method of providing a lavatory unit includes providing a cabinet assembly including a first wall having an opening disposed therethrough and a second wall having at least one access port; inserting a module into the cabinet assembly through the opening in the first wall, the module having at least one compartment disposed therein; and aligning the at least one compartment with the at least one access port.

Lavatory systems that include lavatory modules are provided. In one embodiment, each lavatory module includes a first wall, a second wall coupled to the first wall, a sink, and a urinal. The first wall of a first one of the lavatory modules is attached to the first wall of a second one of the lavatory modules and the first wall of a third one of the lavatory modules is attached to the first wall of a fourth one of the lavatory modules. The second walls are attached to each other. The lavatory modules include an amenities cabinet and a trash bin. The sinks and urinals may be coupled to a common plumbing system. The lavatory modules are manufactured separately and attached once loaded and placed into position on board a vehicle, such as an aircraft.

Stand up lavatory module

A booth-type seating arrangement with fore and aft seats for airplanes and aircraft. A cabinet with a stowable video monitor and pull-up table can be positioned between the seats. Sliding gates integrated into the aisle seat end base can be deployed to form an enclosed play area for children. Theater-style seat bottoms can be provided which flip-up to provide more floor space. Child booster seats can be built into the seatbacks. The seatback and bottom cushions can articulate and slide within fixed frame members to combine with opposite cushions to form a flat sleeping configuration for passengers.

Interior seating architecture for aircraft

Apparatus and methods for cabinet devices for lavatories are provided. In one embodiment, an amenities cabinet device includes a housing having an opening and a module that is slideably received within the housing. The module includes a plurality of amenity compartments. The housing includes a plurality of ports for accessing the plurality of amenity compartments included within the module. The plurality of amenity compartments are configured to store a soap dispenser, a lotion dispenser, a tissue dispenser, a paper towel dispenser, or other amenities.

A vehicle ceiling lining structure is provided. Each ceiling lining structure includes a frame formed in accordance with a section of a ceiling of an aircraft, a fabric attached to the frame, and mounts for attaching the frame to the ceiling. The structure includes a light that is attached to the frame in order to backlight the fabric. A light enhancement film is attached to the frame for dispersing the light. A back panel is attached to the frame to keep condensation away from the vehicle cabin. The frame includes one or more molded plastic parts that allow quick release from the mounts.

Aircraft windows and associated methods for installation. The windows can be installed in a passenger cabin of an aircraft and can include a frame that supports a pane assembly having a viewing area of at least 180 square inches. The viewing area can have a triangular shape, with the sides of the window aligned with none of the major axis of the aircraft. Alternatively, the window can have a longitudinally extended rectangular shape, a diamond shape or an elliptical shape. The window frame can have a divider portion that separates two window apertures, each of which carries a separate pane assembly. Adjacent windows can be closed out with a common bezel.
