A fluid dispenser includes a dispenser body including an actuator, a fluid body housing, and a fluid body. The fluid body housing is coupled to the dispenser body at one end and releasably coupled to the dispenser body at another end, such that the fluid body housing is pivotable between a first position in which the fluid body housing is coupled to the dispenser body at both ends and a second position in which the fluid body housing is decoupled from the dispenser body at the other end. The fluid body includes a fluid inlet and a dispensing valve. The fluid body is at least partly retained in the fluid body housing when the fluid body housing is in the first position and is removable from the fluid body housing when the fluid body housing is in the second position.

A fluid dispensing apparatus includes a dispenser body, a valve stem with a valve tip, and a nozzle having a nozzle body defining a fluid chamber terminating in a discharge outlet, an annular valve seat, and a resilient annular portion. A method for dispensing droplets of fluid with the fluid dispensing apparatus includes moving the valve stem relative to the dispenser body and the nozzle body, collecting fluid in the fluid chamber flowing from the dispenser body when the valve stem is moved in an upstream direction with the valve tip out of engagement with the annular valve seat and the resilient annular portion, and dispensing fluid in the fluid chamber out of the discharge outlet when the valve stem is moved in a downstream direction.

Fluid dispensing apparatus and methods utilizing a resilient nozzle

A nozzle for a fluid dispenser configured to dispense fluid includes a nozzle body and a valve stem that has a valve tip and is movable in an upstream direction and a downstream direction. The nozzle also includes an annular valve seat that is configured to contact the valve tip when the valve stem moves in the downstream direction, and a resilient annular portion that extends from the nozzle body and is adjacent to the annular valve seat. As the valve stem moves in the downstream direction, the resilient annular portion contacts the valve tip, flexes radially outwards, and thereby forms a sealing engagement with the valve tip, to avoid undesirable additional dispensed volumes that may be caused if the valve tip recoils away from the valve seat following initial contact of these elements.

A jetting dispenser including an actuator housing, an actuator, a fluid body housing, and a fluid body. The actuator is located in the actuator housing and the fluid body housing is coupled to the actuator housing. The fluid body is coupled to the fluid body housing and includes a fluid inlet in communication with a fluid bore. The fluid body further includes a jetting valve having a movable shaft operatively coupled with the actuator when the fluid body housing is coupled to the actuator housing. The shaft is moved by the actuator to jet an amount of fluid from the fluid bore. The fluid body is capable of being removed from the fluid body housing when the fluid body housing is decoupled from the actuator housing.

An apparatus for pulsed dispensing of liquid. The apparatus includes a syringe body structure communicating with an input passage for pressurized actuation air, and communicating with an exit passage for allowing discharge of the liquid. An air input passage flow air controller is operative to increase the flow rate of the input air in accordance with a relationship that depends at least partially on a reduction of liquid volume in the syringe body structure resulting from a previous pulsed dispensing operation.

A fluid dispenser and a method for using the fluid dispenser with a syringe barrel holding a fluid including a distribution of composite materials. The fluid dispenser includes a dispensing valve operable to dispense the fluid and a coupling for fluidly connecting the syringe barrel to the dispensing valve. The fluid dispenser also includes a support frame for rotatably supporting the syringe barrel and a motorized drive unit configured to rotate the syringe barrel. The syringe barrel rotates via the motorized drive unit to distribute the composite materials uniformly within the fluid for dispensing the fluid.

Fluid dispenser and method for dispensing a fluid including a uniform distribution of composite materials

A dispenser and method for dispensing a liquid. The dispenser includes a barrel with an interior chamber for holding the liquid, a discharge outlet communicating with the interior chamber for discharging the liquid, and an air space for receiving pressurized air for forcing the liquid from the interior chamber through the discharge outlet. An air supply solenoid valve and an air exhaust solenoid valve are each operatively coupled with the barrel. The air supply solenoid valve controls the flow of pressurized air to the air space, and the air exhaust solenoid valve controls the flow of air from the air space to atmosphere. A control selectively activates the air supply solenoid valve and the air exhaust solenoid valve to respectively supply air to the air space and exhaust air from the air space in order to dispense desired amounts of the liquid from the discharge outlet.

Pneumatic liquid dispensing apparatus and method

An apparatus and method for pulsed dispensing of liquid. The apparatus includes a syringe body structure communicating with an input passage for pressurized actuation air, and communicating with an exit passage for allowing discharge of the liquid. Apparatus and method for pulsed dispensing of liquid

A bore gauge centralizer comprising a frame having a pair of parallel legs connected by a cross piece. One end of the frame is pivotally mounted to the gauge head so that the legs are generally parallel to the longitudinal axis of the gauge and the ends of the legs pivot in unison away from the head. A spring biases the leg ends away from the head. A roller is rotatably attached to the each leg end. The roller is a truncated solid oval so that a single contact point is made with the bore wall regardless of the position of the frame.
