An air distribution panel for aircraft comprises a primary air inlet port, a housing fluidly coupled to the primary air inlet port, and an environmental sensor. The primary air inlet port is configured to be fluidly coupled to and receive primary air from an air distribution plenum. The housing comprises an air outlet chamber and a secondary air inlet chamber. The primary air is exhausted into an aircraft compartment via the air outlet chamber. Secondary air is drawn from the aircraft compartment via the secondary air inlet chamber. Exhausting of the primary air through the air outlet chamber causes the secondary air to be passively drawn into the secondary air inlet chamber. The environmental sensor is positioned within the secondary air inlet chamber and along an airflow path of the secondary air. The secondary air is exhausted via the air outlet chamber back into the aircraft compartment after the secondary air passes the temperature sensor.

Environmental control systems, airflow interleavers, and methods. The environmental control systems include an airflow interleaver and mix manifold comprising a mixing chamber. The airflow interleaver comprises a first airflow guide structure configured to guide a second airflow towards a central axis of the mixing chamber and a second airflow guide structure configured to guide a first airflow away from the central axis. The methods include channeling first and second airflows to the mix manifold, mixing the first and second airflows, which includes guiding the first airflow away from the central axis and guiding the second airflow towards the central axis. The airflow interleavers include a tubular body, and a plurality of converging airflow guides and a plurality of diverging airflow guides extending from the tubular body and collectively being configured to interleave first airflow streams flowing from the tubular body with second airflow streams flowing external to the tubular body.

Aircraft environmental control systems including airflow interleavers and methods for controlling airflow within aircraft

Air distribution nozzles, aircraft that include air distribution nozzles, and methods of utilizing air distribution nozzles are disclosed herein. The air distribution nozzles include an elongate inlet chamber, an elongate outlet chamber, and an elongate slot that extends between, and fluidly interconnects, the elongate inlet chamber and the elongate outlet chamber. The air distribution nozzles also include a suction inlet chamber that extends from a suction inlet port to the elongate inlet chamber. The suction inlet port opens into the suction inlet chamber. The air distribution nozzles further include a motive fluid inlet port that extends into the elongate inlet chamber. The air distribution nozzles also include a sensor port that extends into the suction inlet chamber. The air distribution nozzles further include an elongate outlet port that extends from the elongate outlet chamber.

Air distribution nozzles, aircraft that include air distribution nozzles, and methods of utilizing air distribution nozzles

Air distribution nozzles, aircraft that include air distribution nozzles, and/or methods of utilizing air distribution nozzles are disclosed herein. The air distribution nozzles include an elongate inlet chamber, an elongate outlet chamber, a tapered elongate slot, an inlet port into the elongate inlet chamber, and an elongate outlet port from the elongate outlet chamber. The elongate inlet chamber extends along an inlet chamber length. The elongate outlet chamber extends along the inlet chamber length. The tapered elongate slot extends between, and fluidly interconnects, the elongate inlet chamber and the elongate outlet chamber. The inlet port is configured to receive an inlet fluid flow along an inlet flow axis. The elongate outlet port is configured to discharge an outlet fluid flow along an outlet flow axis that is oriented at a skew angle relative to the inlet flow axis.

A locking spanner assembly for an aircraft is disclosed. A clasp can be secured to an anchor by urging the clasp onto the anchor. The anchor contacts a trigger which opens a gate assembly to release a locking member which locks to the anchor. A lever arm allows for release which resets the clasp.

Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide movable barrier, including: a frame having a first side and a second side parallel to the first side; a first exterior panel connected to the first side of the frame and including: a first non-planar profile; and a first plurality of perforations; a second exterior panel connected to the second side of the frame and including: a second non-planar profile; and a second plurality of perforations; a cavity defined between the first exterior panel and the second exterior panel; and a liner disposed within the cavity and configured to: deform when an air pressure differential acting on a first side of the liner exceeds a pressure differential threshold and allow increased airflow through the movable barrier.
