An interface for transmitting electrical power to a motor of a motor-compressor is provided. The interface may include a receptacle having a first end portion coupled with a stator of the motor and a second end portion defining a hole at least partially extending therethrough. The interface may also include a plug configured to be detachably coupled with the receptacle. The plug may include a rigid, conductive rod having a first end portion configured to be coupled with a penetrator of the motor-compressor, and a second end portion configured to be at least partially disposed in the hole of the receptacle and detachably coupled therewith. The rigid, conductive rod may be configured to electrically couple the penetrator with the receptacle, and the receptacle may be configured to transmit the electrical power to the stator.

A thermocouple system includes a thermowell configured to enter a structure through which a medium flows; an elongated probe provided partially inside the thermowell and configured to measure a temperature; at least one o-ring disposed around the elongated probe at a first end, the o-ring being configured to dampen a vibration for the elongated probe by contacting the thermowell; and an elastomer disposed around the elongated probe section at a second end, the elastomer being configured to dampen the vibration for the elongated probe by contacting the thermowell.

The method includes determining a sound spectrum of a cavity of the compressor without attaching the dampener to the compressor; calculating an acoustic wavelength of the cavity; receiving a length of a proximal nozzle of the dampener; and calculating, based on the acoustic wavelength of the cavity and the length of the proximal nozzle of the dampener, multiple order frequencies associated with the proximal nozzle of the dampener and the cavity of the compressor, wherein the proximal nozzle of the dampener is proximal to the cavity of the compressor when the dampener is attached to the compressor.
