The present application discloses systems and methods for managing assets. In one exemplary embodiment, a system for monitoring an asset is disclosed. The system comprises at least one asset monitoring device, at least one fuel control device, and a central server. The asset monitoring device is configured for use with the asset to collect asset data about the asset. The fuel control device is configured for use with a fuel source to collect fueling data about fueling of the asset. The fuel control device is configured to communicate with the asset monitoring device to receive the asset data from the asset monitoring device. The central server is configured to communicate with the fuel control device to receive the asset data and the fueling data from the fuel control device.

Asset monitoring and fueling system

A device for applying a mat of aggregate material having an entrained liquid additive as the device is moved along a path. The device includes a hopper for receiving the aggregate material, a spreader for spreading the aggregate material generally transversely relative to the path, a compacting screed for compacting the aggregate material into the mat, and a mixing conveyor arranged to convey the aggregate material from the hopper to the spreader and to mix the aggregate material along the length of the conveyor. A conduit in flow communication with an additive supply source is mounted within and spans a portion of the hopper. The conduit thus communicates the liquid additive from the additive source to the aggregate material as the aggregate material is being mixed and conveyed.

Additive injection device for paving machines

A traffic barrier section with a centrally-located, built-in carrier is disclosed. The carrier includes a fluid-operated ram which is connected to an axle carrying wheels located below the ram. Then the wheels are in a retracted position, the barrier section rests on the ground and when the wheels are extended, the barrier section is supported fully on the wheels. In that position, a plurality of the barrier sections which are pivotally connected in end-to-end relationship can be moved from one construction site to another as needs change. Each axle and the wheels can be turned to a position other than perpendicular to the longitudinal extent of the barrier section so that some of the barrier sections can be moved transversely to place them in other than a straight line position.

Traffic barriers with built-in carriers

A traffic barrier carrier or mover is provided, by means of which traffic barrier sections can be repositioned according to changing needs. The carrier includes a supporting frame having two opposite end plates upon which adjacent ends of two generally aligned barrier sections are supported. The frame carries a hydraulic cylinder which raises and lowers supporting wheels mounted on an axle under the frame. The wheels are moved between an upper position located above the lower extremities of the supporting frame with the barrier sections being supported on a surface, and a lower position below the lower extremities of the supporting frame with the barrier sections being raised above the surface. In the latter position of the wheels, the barrier sections can be towed in end-to-end relationship from one position to another. Steering mechanism can be employed with the wheels of each carrier to steer the barrier sections.
