A bicycle parking system includes a frame having a number of lower supports and a number of upper supports, each support being constructed to receive a bicycle. The frame includes a slide bar operatively engaged with each of the upper supports. Each slide bar includes a curved end to allow the attached upper support to rotate relative to the slide bar for loading and unloading of the upper support. A spring assembly biases each upper support toward a stored position.

A method and apparatus for providing speed controlled eccentric exercise which include an exercise apparatus having an engagement member for engaging a user's body where the engagement member is moveable in opposite directions, means for enabling the engagement member to exert a force in a first direction at a predetermined speed, means for detecting change in the predetermined speed or pressure of the force after a user applies a force to the engagement means in a direction opposite the first force, and means for adjusting the apparatus supplied force and user supplied forces to equal one another or to maintain the predetermined speed.

Method and apparatus for speed controlled eccentric exercise training

A handle housing that is modular and easily assembled and disassembled for maintenance and cleaning. The handle housing has an integrally-formed orientation shape (e.g. S-shape) to keep it from tipping onto the flossing tip. The handle housing also includes the rocker arm, cam drive (together the drive train), motor, power supply and bobbin for full functionality, with linear, reciprocating motion created by the drive train for effective cleaning.

A stroller includes a latching mechanism for a foldable frame that is remotely actuated through a sliding actuator on an upper frame member of the stroller frame. The sliding actuator is attached via a wire to pins which can be selectively placed in or out of engagement with a notch defined on a surface associated with the lower front frame member. A seat assembly on the stroller includes a seat back which is pivotably attached to the adjacent seat portions to allow the seat back to be folded when the stroller is folded. A canopy with dual extendable visors is removably attachable to the seat assembly. The canopy can be moved pivotably to a fully forward, fully backward, or any intermediate position, and the dual extendable visors on either end thereof can be selectively retracted or extended so as to achieve the desired amount of blocking of the sun and elements as well as to provide the desired ventilation. A footrest is provided on a front side of the seat assembly which is pivotably attached thereto and can be latched in a pivoted and retracted position under the upper front edge of the seat assembly. A slidable basket assembly is provided underneath the seat assembly which has a slidable frame that, when extended, pivots a back panel of a fabric basket assembly to provide easier access to the basket when underneath the seat assembly. A detachable tray is selectively attachable to the front edge of the seating portion of the stroller.

An infant restraint system including an infant carrier, a base couplable to the infant carrier via an improved locking mechanism and having an improved recline mechanism. The infant restraint system further includes an improved handle and an improved belt system, the belt system having a mid-belt adjuster disposed in front of the infant when the infant is positioned in the infant restraint system.

Convertible infant carrier/restraint system

A child restraint system including a seat back pivotably connected to a seat bottom and having a fabric cover thereon. The seat back includes two oblong openings defined therein which are covered by mesh portions provided on the fabric cover to allow for the improved flow of air between the area behind and to the side of the seat back and the area in the vicinity of the torso of the child occupying the child restraint system and to allow for the easy connection of the child restraint system to the seat of the motor vehicle. A guide providing multiple possible positions for a shoulder belt of the motor vehicle seat belt system is provided on the seat back. The guide may be fixed with a plurality of fixed channels thereon for receiving and retaining the shoulder belt or the guide may be movable relative to the seat back, being yieldingly held in place by a spring and a pattern of serrations defined on the guide. The tiltable connection of the seat back to the seat bottom is accomplished by a pivot pin received within each of the seat back and the seat bottom. A locking member is selectively receivable within bores defined in the seat back and the seat bottom to prevent further pivotable movement.

High-back child restraint system

A frame carrier including a soft body portion and a frame formed of a resin material. The soft body portion includes a front portion, a back portion, side portions and a seat portion connected to the back portion. The seat portion includes a forward end with an adjustment strap attached to the frame wherein the adjustment of the length of the adjustment strap may be used to adjust the height of the seat portion. A pivoted leg stand is provided including a pivot connection which defines two predetermined positions for the leg stand. The pivot connection includes cooperating cam and detent members wherein the two positions for the leg stand are defined by movement of the cam relative to the detent. The carrier further includes an adjustable waist belt including a pair of clips engaged in vertically extending slots in the frame. A plurality of mounting points for the clips are defined along the slots to thereby define different height positions for the waist belt.
