A line light provides a disc shaped battery carrying, in electrical connectivity, two parallel electrically conductive tubes, one tube on each battery pole. A line tube is carried adjacent and parallel to one electrically conductive tube. A waterproof coating extends entirely thereabout. An LED releasably simultaneously interconnects with the two electrically conductive tubes to complete a circuit providing electrical power for illumination of the LED.

Apparatus, and an associated method, for providing a Web-based directory with automatic dialing capabilities that may be used by the user of a standard wireline or cellular telephone to establish contact with entities having SIP phones or other IP-based communication devises. The Web-based directory includes not only the names of various entities, but information on how to establish voice contact with them as well such as IP addresses or other contact numbers. A Web-based directory user establishes an Internet connection and retrieves one or more Web pages of the Web-based directory, selecting from them one or more entities from among those listed. Having made this selection, the user requests initiation of a voice-communication session, whereupon a conferencing system in communication with the Web-based directory application server initiates a call to both of the selected entity or entities using applicable communication channels and the user so that the desired voice-communication session can be established.

Apparatus and method for a world wide web-based directory with automatic call capability

Horizontally disposed fins are located in a plane in alignment with a raised trolling plate with fin trailing edges proximate the leading edge of the raised trolling plate. A mounting bracket of a trolling plate assembly serves to mount the fins superjacent the anti-cavitation plate of a propulsion unit.

A trolling plate having first and second plate members joined in hinged fashion with one of the trolling plates moveable to a trailed inclined position in the presence of boat propulsion system backwash associated with speeds in excess of trolling speeds. Spring components reposition the trailing inclined plate member upon resumption of reduced boat speed and reduced backwash forces. Trailing of the plate member during high backwash force avoids trolling plate damage and, in some trolling plate assemblies avoids undesired unlatching of the trolling plate from an operative vertical position.

Trolling plate construction

A trolling plate assembly includes a plate structure pivotally carried on a supporting bracket on a propulsion unit. The plate structure is spring biased toward a downward or deployed position. Ears on the plate structure provide tracks on which followers are entrained with the followers seating in recesses at the end of each track to retain the plate structure horizontal. The rollers are biased into track and into recess engagement. A control permits the user to disengage the rollers from the recesses to allow downward deployment of the plate structure. A modified trolling plate includes a pair of adjustably biased rollers each for rolling contact with a trolling plate ear for seating in multiple recesses therein. Each recess is associated with a different plate position.

Trolling plate

A fat sparing composition, and cremes, particularly cookie filler cremes, utilizing the fat sparing composition. The composition includes a soft fat blend, and an emulsifier which is preferably a phosphated mono- or diglyceride or polyglycerol polyricinoleate. DATEM esters and lecithin may also advantageously be used. The fat sparer may be used to extend vegetable fat in cookie filler and other cremes.

A hydrofoil for attachment to an outdrive or outboard motor supports a trolling plate projecting rearwardly from the hydrofoil when in a raised position. The trolling plate includes a pair of arms having a lockable member therebetween slidably engageable with a latch pivotally mounted on the hydrofoil. Downward trolling plate deployment may occur upon elevation of the latch by an operator control which permits the lockable member to travel lengthwise of an elongate opening in the latch and into one of multiple catches in communication with the elongate opening. A first pair of torsion springs urge the trolling plate to a deployed position. A second set of torsion springs urge the latch toward a position securing the lockable member against movement. Multiple trolling plate positions allow maneuvering of a boat with a deployed trolling plate.

Hydrofoil with trolling plate

A braking system for a vehicle such as a trailer having electric brakes which utilizes a carbon-pile voltage regulator. A piston of the regulator is responsive to hydraulic pressures occurring in the tow vehicle brake system to bias the disks to increase current flow. An electromagnet is utilized to preload the carbon disks with a gain control provided in circuit with the electromagnet to vary preloading. Mechanical means are provided in the regulator to limit outward displacement of the piston component of the regulator and, in a modified form of the regulator, a core of the electromagnet. Hydraulic fluid acting on the regulator is isolated from the fluid of the hydraulic brake system by a diaphram unit.

Electrohydraulic braking system with carbon-pile voltage regulator

A combination including an electric brake control, ammeter and multiple brackets are disclosed for installation at the driver's station of a trailer towing vehicle. The brackets permit optional mounting of the ammeter on the control. A slotted opening in one of the brackets permits adjustment of the bracket about a horizontal axis for optimum viewing the bracket supported ammeter by the towing vehicle driver and also vertical positioning of the ammeter relative the brake control.

Combination brake controller and monitor for an electrical braking

An aquatic 'dive-plane' which operates in tow behind a motorcraft. Used in conjunction with basic snorkle gear it permits the user, by the flexing up or down of peripheral wings to submerge and explore under the surface as well as to turn, maneuver and resurface intermittently for air. It comprises a body of buoyant material to float the unit for easy recovery; a pair of semi-parabolic structures of a rigid, durable transparent material which serve hydrodynamically to minimize drag and to protect the face and mask from turbulence while allowing the user a maximum view of surroundings both above and below the surface; a pair of peripheral wings manually controlled by affixed handles by which the user controls his position in the water; a pair of arm-supports by which the user stabilizes his position in relation to the dive-plane and by which an even distribution or shifting of the pulling tension is permitted.

Dive-plane

A hydrofoil adapted for attachment to a boat propulsion unit. The hydrofoil defines a recessed area on its underside in which a trolling plate may be positioned. A pivot shaft couples the plate to the hydrofoil permitting upright deployment of the plate for slowing of the watercraft. A locking bar on the hydrofoil serves to engage stops on the plate to lock same in retracted and deployed positions. A control permits remote operation of the locking bar.

A mirror assembly having a two piece bracket for clamped attachment to the ends of an original equipment side view mirror. A first bracket component is bifurcated to engage a mirror arm and is fastened to a second bracket component which includes tabs which seat against the outer end of the original mirror. A mirror is carried by the second bracket component.

Auxiliary mirror assembly for vehicles

An auxiliary mirror having a base with perpendicular members for abutment with a vehicle mirror housing. An extension on one of the members carries the auxiliary mirror. Elastic straps with hook elements secure the base to the mirror housing. The base is shaped to abut the mirror housing perimeter.
