A basketball-like member is mounted on one end of a pendulum adapted to swing in an arc about a cylindrical bearing attached to a support extending from a discontinuity of a first side of a partially cylindrical hoop through which the basket-ball member is repetitively swung to score points. A handle on a second opposite side is grasped and the tethered ball manipulated to cause the repetitive arcuate travel through the hoop. A battery-powered counter keeps track of the number of baskets or points scored, at the preference of the player.

A stroller has a pivotable seat which may be latched at any rotational angle desired. In addition, a support tray positioned beneath the seat can be folded into a stored position and the height of the support platform adjusted to accommodate the height of the baby occupying the seat, which permits the stroller to be used as a walker and as a play station.

A first embodiment of carousel device provides a bouncer which cannot be tipped over accidentally. Further, a oscillating circuit enables a battery-operated motor to gently oscillate the bouncer through an 80&#xb0; arc. A pair of retractable rockers are provided on the bottom of the stationary base to afford the baby additional motion while bouncing. A second embodiment provides a straddlable vehicle which a youngster can peddle, a sound circuit being activated by the pedaling as inducement to continue exercising.

Carousel devices

A swing assembly suitable for children ages new borne through 12 months has a seat member that surrounds the child, and a disk-shaped base with support legs extending upwardly therefrom. The width of the base exceeds the vertical extent of the swing assembly making it extremely stable. The base includes a stationary base that supports a rotational base to permit turning throughout 360&deg; about a vertical axis. The swing may be oscillated by manual and/or mechanized members. The dimensions of the swing are such that it can be easily maneuvered around, moved about and transported to other locations.

Low-profile infant swing assembly

A potty chair resembling a miniature toilet uses features of appearance and a handle for producing a simulated flushing sound, to attract a toddler, familiarize her/him with the device and remove barriers to its usage. A dual phase reward system including a displayable trophy and a storage cubby hole for prizes such as candy, stickers, and toys, encourage the child to use the device and accelerate the completion of potty training.

Potty training device

A toddler carousel is formed by providing a rotational base member with a mountable seat such as a pony. Preferably, the seat is mounted in the center of the carousel and can be rocked by the toddler. The rotational base is rotated relative to a stationary base by a motor and, by virtue of bearings positioned between the rotational and stationary bases. Alternatively, the seat may be mounted adjacent the periphery of the carousel to provide the toddler with a more conventional carousel-type ride.

Carousel device

An infant entertainment device having a molded plastic receptacle which receives a portable seat or layette, the device rotating a baby carried by the seat at a rate of about one rpm relative to a stationary base member. Optionally, the carousel may be equipped with a cam on the stationary base and a cam-riding rod which engages and rocks the removable seat relative to the molded carrier as the upper portion rotates relative to the stationary base. Music is provided by a microchip, for example, or at the option of the operator, the carousel may be operated without music. A toddler carousel may be formed by providing the rotational base member with a mountable seat such as a pony. Preferably, the pony is mounted in the center of the carousel and can be rocked by the toddler. Alternatively, the pony may be mounted adjacent the periphery of the carousel to provide the toddler with a more conventional carousel-type ride.

An infant entertainment device having a molded plastic seat which rotates a baby carried thereby at a rate of about one rpm relative to a stationary base member. Optionally, the carousel may be equipped with a rheostat capable of varying the rate of rotation between one-half and four rpm. Music is provided by a microchip, for example, or at the option of the operator, the carousel may be operated without music. An optional accessory bar may be provided to support amusement devices in the baby's view.

Toy ball

A glider having one or more soap bubble forming rings each discharging a trail of bubbles. A reservoir feeds soap solution to the uppermost section of the ring. The reservoir is set back of the trailing face of the ring and the sides of the reservoir diverge outwardly to prevent trapping of air which could impede the feeding from the reservoir. The ring may be used separately for manual bubble blowing or on other toys.

A take-apart doll in which the doll's eyes remain closed until the parts of the doll are completely reassembled, at which time the doll's eyes open.

A ball with a tail of flexible plastic foam by which the ball may be thrown or caught. The tail trails the ball in flight and is of cross section great enough to prevent wrapping around or tangling with tree limbs, wires, etc., with which the tail may come in contact during flight.

Pneumatic cushion childrens' toy in which two children are respectively confined between a sling and opposite sides of a huge pneumatic cushion attached to the center of the sling. By reason of the cushion, the children can dance about and push or pull or bump each other without direct bodily contact.
