A gear drive unit (), for a seat adjuster or a power-assisted steering system, comprised of a spindle (), on which a drive gear () that drives the spindle () is provided, a drive assembly (), which drives the drive gear () by means of a driven element () and at least one device () on which the drive assembly () is at least flanged-mounted, and which operationally couples at least the driven element () and the drive gear (). The invention provides that at least one additional support (') is provided in which the drive gear () is mounted, and this support is fastened to the base part () and supports the device ().

Gear/drive unit

The present invention relates to a transmission (), in particular for an adjustment drive, comprising a housing (), a worm shaft () which is rotatably mounted in the housing () and which can be driven, a worm wheel () which is rotatably mounted in the housing () and which meshes with the worm shaft (), an encircling first wedge surface () which is formed on the worm wheel () or fixedly connected to the worm wheel (), a brake element () which is arranged so as to be rotationally conjoint with respect to the worm wheel () and which has a second wedge surface (), wherein the first wedge surface () bears areally against the second wedge surface ().

Transmission, in particular for an adjustment drive

A gearing mechanism includes a housing component and a shaft mounted in the housing component. The shaft is driven rotating relative to the housing component with regard to a rotation axis in a first rotation direction and in a second rotation direction opposite the first rotation direction. There is also a wrap element that wraps the shaft multiple times. A first end of the wrap element is fastened to the housing component. It is also possible that an inward oriented friction surface is provided and that the wrap element is arranged within the inward oriented friction surface at least in sections in order to interact with the friction surface. In an alternative embodiment, a brake element is provided, the shaft comprises a brake element receptacle that at least partially accommodates the brake element and a contact surface is allocated to the brake element for interacting with the brake element.

Gearing mechanism

The invention relates to a drive device in vehicle component, comprising an electric drive motor, the armature shaft thereof being connected to a gearbox device for driving an output shaft. The gearbox device comprises at least one double gearbox unit, made of two gear stages having two changes in direction.

Gear mechanism

Eccentric gearing () for displacing two parts positioned in a manner that enables them to move relative to one another. The eccentric gearing includes a gearing housing (), an eccentric element (), which is driven by a rotary drive () and on which an eccentric gear () is rotationally mounted, and it includes an output element (), which interacts with the eccentric gear () by meshing therewith in sections. The eccentric gear () is actively connected to a coupling element () placed inside a recess () of a fastening flange () that enables the eccentric gearing () to be fixed on one of the two parts ().
