A hydraulic power steering system which includes a tank and a power steering pump which takes in a pressure medium from an intake area which is decoupled from the prevailing atmospheric pressure on the side of the tank wall and delivers it under pressure to the power steering system. A valve device builds up a pre-pressure in the intake area and prevents a negative pressure and a positive pressure from building up on the interior of the oil tank.

The invention relates to a compressor, particularly for air conditioners in motor vehicles, comprising a safety device for limiting high pressure, whereby the safety device is hermetically sealed until first responding, after which it slowly reduces the system pressure.

Compressor

The invention relates to an axial piston machine, in particular, an air-conditioning compressor for motor vehicles, with at least one piston, an essentially cylindrical piston shaft and an enclosure, which encloses a tilt ring or a tilt disc and a piston slipper sliding on said tilt ring or said tilt disc, whereby the enclosure has spherical recesses for housing the piston slipper.

Axial piston machine

In a motor vehicle with a combustion engine, an electronic engine-management device, and an air-conditioning system with an air-conditioning control device, the air-conditioning compressor has reciprocating pistons whose displacement stroke is adjustable through one or more control valves. The electronic engine-management device has direct access to and priority control over the adjustment of the piston stroke, so that the electronic engine management device takes precedence over the air-conditioning control device in controlling the adjustment of the piston stroke.

In a wobble plate piston-drive mechanism, the inclination of the ring-shaped wobble plate is adjustable through an articulated connection of the wobble plate to the shaft by means of an axially movable guiding device and a driver arm that reaches into an engagement cavity of the wobble plate at a radial distance from the shaft to transmit the driving force from the shaft to the wobble plate. The driver arm head and/or the engagement cavity are shaped so that the force-transmitting contact between the driver arm head and the annular wobble plate is moved away from the area where the engagement cavity has its minimum wall thickness. This prevents or reduces deformation of the gliding surface of the wobble plate and thus makes the mechanism run more smoothly.

Pump

A rotary vane pump for delivering a fluid, having a delivery device accommodated in a casing ( ), a casing cover ( ) arranged on one end face, and optionally with a bearing flange ( ) adjoining the casing ( ) on the side opposite to the casing cover ( ). A seal ( ) is arranged between the casing ( ) and the casing cover ( ) and optionally between the casing ( ) and the bearing flange ( ), and the seal ( ) is inserted into a groove ( ) formed in the casing cover ( ), and optionally in the bearing flange ( ), and/or in the respective end face ( ) of casing ( ). Also a leakage path ( ) for the fluid extends between a delivery side ( ) and suction side ( ). The leakage path ( ) extends on the inner side ( ) of the seal at least in sections parallel to the seal ( ).

A hydraulic machine is proposed, with a drive shaft rotating around a center axis, a drive wheel at a first end of the drive shaft, via which forces, which are characterized by a force component running largely vertical to the center axis, are led to the drive shaft, a second, opposite end of the drive shaft with a pump unit, which is characterized by a first rotating pump element connected to the drive shaft and a fixed pump element which works in conjunction with the first pump element, and with a bearing unit for the drive shaft, the hydraulic machine is characterized by the fact that the bearing unit (33) is offset to the line drawn by the middle axis (13) when the drive shaft (27) is not under load, where the bearing unit (33) is positioned in the direction of the force components relative to the center axis (13).

A vane cell pump comprises a lifting ring forming at least one suction and one pressure chamber, a rotor movably arranged in the lifting ring and having radially movable vanes, and at least one pressure plate forming a lateral surface of the suction and pressure chamber, characterized in that the pressure plate (23, 25) is made of a near or hypo-eutectic aluminium alloy which contains silicon and which undergoes heat treatment.

Vane cell pump

A valve assembly for controlling volume flow from a discharge device to an actuator and including a discharge throttle, and a flow control valve for controlling flow through the throttle and having a piston, and end portion of which overlaps a channel for returning excess fluid to a suction side of the discharge device and has an end region forming a seated valve preventing leakage past the end region, when the end region completely overlaps the return channel.
