The disclosure relates to a connection module, including a plurality of connections for functional elements and a plurality of operating indicators. At least one of the operating indicators has a display element, and the display element has a base, which is disposed as a light guide and which has a light in-coupling surface and a light out-coupling surface.

The disclosure relates to a contact carrier including an electrical contact and a contact arm which is connected to the electrical contact in an electrically conducting manner. The contact arm includes a tolerance-compensating portion and a contact base formed on the tolerance-compensating portion for electrically contacting the electrical contact with a contact surface.

A data-processing device for performing this method is also disclosed, which device comprises a signal unit that can be coupled to a constructed system element for producing a control and/or data transmission system, for reading out, querying or receiving a signal output of the system element in response to a predetermined signal voltage applied at the system element, an evaluation unit for evaluating the signal output as a function of the input signal in order to analyze the system element, and a processing unit for associating the analyzed system element with a transmission function.
