A clamping clip, including a clamping band the two end portions of which overlap one another in a closed condition of the clamping clip forming an inner band portion and an outer band portion, the clamping band including a first tensioning hook arranged on the outer band portion, and a second tensioning hook arranged on the inner band portion, the second tensioning hook including an inclined surface facing the outer band portion as a ramp, wherein at least one of the first tensioning hook and the second tensioning hook includes a plurality of projections facing away from the other of the first tensioning hook and the second tensioning hook.

Clamping clip

A diameter variable hose clamp includes a clamping band having end portions which mutually overlap in the closed condition of the hose clamp. The inner end portion carries a tongue which has a width smaller than the full width of the clamping band, and hooks for closing of the hose clamp. The outer end portion is provided with openings for receiving the hooks, an ear-like tightening device for tightening the hose clamp around an object to be clamped, and an arcuate band portion for receiving the tongue. The arcuate band portion is cut free from the clamping band by longitudinal cuts in forming lateral band webs.

Hose clamp

Connecting the two band endsof a hose clamp is done by means of a guide hookdisposed on an inner band portion and engaging a guide hook receiving meanson the outer band end, and a support hookalso formed on the inner band portion and engaging a support hook receiving meanson the outer band portion. The support hook receiving meansis an embossment formed from the band material by cold deformation and being continuous with the band material on all sides, the inner surface of the support hook receiving meanshaving a support portionadjacent to the outer band endand extending at right angles with respect to the band surface. The support hookhas a nosewhich faces away from the inner band endand has a cut edge which nicks into the support portionof the support hook receiving meanswhen the hose clamp is tightened. Since the support hook receiving meansis entirely continuous with the band material, it has a much higher stability then conventional cut-outs or windows formed in the band.
