Disclosed embodiments include a reconfigurable multi-stage gas compressor having a first-stage compression cylinder, a second-stage compression cylinder, and two stepped cylinders. Each of the stepped cylinders include first and second compression cylinders. The gas flow paths through the stepped cylinders are configured in a user-selectable configuration to be in series or in parallel so that the reconfigurable multi-stage gas compressor functions as one of: a three-stage compressor, as a four-stage compressor, and as a hybrid three/four stage compressor. In first and second configurations, the system generates four stages of compression and outputs 4-stage compressed gas through a single exit port, and through dual exit ports, respectively. In a third configuration, the system outputs hot and cooled 3-stage compressed gas through first and second ports and 4-stage compressed gas through a third port. In a fourth configuration, the system outputs hot and cooled 3-stage compressed gas with no 4-stage compressed gas.

Reconfigurable multi-stage gas compressor

An emissions evacuator system that collects natural gas vented from various components of a natural gas compressor system and directs the vented gases to the intake system of a natural gas engine of the compressor system. The evacuator system utilizes vacuum from an intake system of the natural gas engine contained on compressor packages to 'suck up' the gaseous emissions from various emission sources on the compressor package. These emissions are rendered inert when combusted in the natural gas engine.

A vapor recovery turbo compressor is provided for recovering low pressure hydrocarbon vapors from tanks, oil or gas wells or other low-pressure sources. The vapor recovery turbo compressor includes a turbo expander that receives high pressure hydrocarbon gas that drives the turbo expander. The turbo expander drives a vapor recovery compressor. The vapor recovery compressor receives very low-pressure hydrocarbon gas from tanks and other sources and generates medium pressure hydrocarbon gas that can be used for various purposes.

Vapor recovery turbo compressor

A high pressure gas lift compressor system and method of using the system for supplying compressed gas to multiple wells are provided. The system includes a compressor having multiple compressor cylinders. Each cylinder has its own gas inlet line and dedicated gas outlet line that supplies compressed gas from that cylinder directly to a wellbore to provide artificial gas lift. Each cylinder also has its own control valve upstream of the cylinder to control the suction pressure to the cylinder. A desired gas flow rate to each well may be input, and the control valve is adjusted accordingly to achieve the flow rate. By inputting a flow rate for each separate cylinder, the flow rate to each well may be independently controlled.

Gas lift compressor system and method for supplying compressed gas to multiple wells

Systems and methods are disclosed for conditioning a fuel gas for a gas engine of a multi-stage gas compressor. The system includes a scrubber of the gas compressor, a heat exchanger, a pressure reducing valve, and a pressure vessel. A disclosed method includes causing a stream of gas to flow from the scrubber of the gas compressor to the heat exchanger, adding heat to the gas via the heat exchanger, lowering the pressure of the gas via the pressure reducing valve, providing the gas to the pressure vessel, removing liquids from the gas via a coalescing type filter element of the pressure vessel, and providing the conditioned fuel gas from the pressure vessel to the engine of the gas compressor. The gas is taken downstream from a mist extraction device of the scrubber and the scrubber is part of a last stage of compression in the multi-stage gas compressor.
