A motor vehicle seat fitting includes a fitting top part with a ring gear () having internal toothing, a fitting bottom part with a gear wheel (), having external toothing and which is in engagement with the ring gear, an eccentric arranged rotatably in a bore () of the bottom part running axially to the gear wheel, for rolling adjustment of the gear wheel relative to the hollow gear, and a drive shaft, which drives the eccentric and extends axially to the ring gear. A cam receptacle () is arranged on one of the gear wheel or the ring gear () and a stop cam (), that engages in the cam receptacle, is arranged on the other of the gear wheel or ring gear, in a ring portion between the external toothing and the bore and on the ring gear in a zone which may overlap the ring portion.

Seat fitting for a motor vehicle seat

A seat fitting for a motor vehicle seat, with a fitting lower part which is connectable to a seat lower part, a fitting upper part which is connectable to a seat back, an eccentric epicyclic gearing which connects the fitting upper part and fitting lower part in an articulated manner and is intended for adjusting the inclination of the fitting upper part in relation to the fitting lower part, and an actuating mechanism for coupling the seat fitting to a seat longitudinal guide. The fitting upper part has a pivoting body. The actuating mechanism is formed by an unlocking lever. The pivoting body substantially completely shifts the unlocking lever into the unlocking position irrespective of the inclination to which the fitting upper part is set.

A seat back hinge mounting has a toothed element firmly connected to the seat back and a detent element associated with the seat carrier. The detent element includes an arcuate region with teeth that are adapted to be brought into engagement with the teeth of the toothed element, a long hole through which the pivot extends making the detent element movable in such a manner that the teeth are movable into and out of engagement with the teeth of the toothed element, and first and second inclined surfaces disposed on the free end turned away from the seat back and disposed diagonally opposite each other and forming a V-like shape that tapers toward the free end of the detent element. The hinge has first and second spring-loaded eccentric discs fastened for rotation about a respective axis of rotation (Y-Y) on the seat carrier.

Continuously adjustable seat back hinge mounting

A hinge mounting for an adjusting device of a motor vehicle seat has a first hinge arm connected to a first internally toothed external gear wheel and a second hinge arm connected to a second internally toothed external gear wheel and at least two planet wheels, each meshing with both the first external gear wheel and the second external gear wheel. A driver pinion meshes with the planet wheels. A carrier is rotatably disposed about a hinge axis and carries the first planet wheel. A compensation device is disposed between the carrier and the first planet wheel and comprises an elastic member that biases the first planet wheel into engagement with the two external gear wheels.

Adjusting device for a motor vehicle seat

A motor vehicle seat comprising a seat carrier, which is connected on one hand via a height adjustment device, to which belongs a back link, with an underframe and to which on the other hand a back rest support of a back rest is arranged, which on one hand is coupled via a joint to the seat carrier and on the other hand is normally connected via a detachable stop device with a seat carrier in such a way that after the stop device has been released the back rest is moved around the joint in a swinging motion and can thereby be shifted forward. At the same time a locking device has been released, which is preferably allocated to the back link. The seat carrier can be shifted forward in such a way that on the whole the space behind the motor vehicle seat is made larger and the access to this space is made easier. The back rest support has an extension, which extends the back rest support over the joint. A tension bar, which is not resistant to pressure acts upon the extension on one hand and on the other hand at the back link that is designed in such a way that when tilting up the back rest, which is shifted forward, the tension bar, which is resistant to pressure, effects a tensile force onto the back link and thereby the seat carrier, which is also shifted forward is tilted back at the same time.
