A motor housing () has a shaft section to receive a motor shaft () and a motor section to receive motor electronics () and motor windings (). The shaft section and the motor section are separated from each other in a sealed manner by a separating pot () arranged in the motor housing (). A metal ball bearing pot () with a ball bearing () is arranged in the separating pot. The ball bearing pot () lies indirectly against a motor housing section that is connected to the outer surroundings, via the separating pot (). Thus, the motor housing functions as a cooling body. Accordingly, heat generated by the ball bearing () during operation is dissipated onto the motor housing and the outer surroundings, via the ball bearing pot () and the separating pot ().

A circuit board () is equipped with at least one conductor path () and a contact element (). The latter is adapted to mechanically engage and electrically contact an electrical conductor (). In the region of a conductor path (), the circuit board () has passthrough orifices (). The contact element () has a base part () and feet () which press-fit into the orifices (to) of the circuit board (). The contact element () has a contact tongue () that is resiliently articulated on the base part () and clamps the electrical conductor (). This makes possible a secure connection from the electrical conductor () to the circuit board (), e.g. for connecting a device having a large current demand.

An electronically commutated DC motor comprises a stator comprising at least one stator winding (), a rotor () electromagnetically interacting with the stator, a positive and a negative DC voltage line () for supplying power to the motor (), in particular from a battery (), a full bridge circuit () for controlling the current in the at least one stator winding (), which full bridge circuit () comprises a plurality of bridge arms that each comprise an upper bridge transistor () for controlling the current from the positive DC voltage line () to an associated terminal () of that stator winding () as well as a lower bridge transistor () for controlling the current from the relevant terminal of the stator winding to the negative DC voltage line (). The motor further comprises an arrangement for generating a plurality of rotor position signals, and an arrangement for controlling a predetermined bridge transistor by logical combination of rotor position signals associated therewith, there being provided, for logical combination of those rotor position signals, a control transistor () to whose base a first rotor position signal (H) is conveyable and to whose emitter a second rotor position signal (H) is conveyable, and whose collector signal serves to control the predetermined bridge transistor (). A circuit comprising a half bridge is also described.
