An ultrasonic fluid meter for determining the flow rate and/or volume of a flowing medium includes a housing, an inlet, an outlet, a first ultrasound measurement path including at least one ultrasound transducer, and a second ultrasound measurement path including at least one ultrasound transducer. The ultrasound measurement paths extend at an angle to one another inside the housing and intersect. The first ultrasound measurement path and the second ultrasound measurement path extend at an angle to one another and intersect in a common region, as seen in a projection plane of a flow cross section. A method for determining the flow rate and/or volume of a flowing medium is also provided.

An ultrasonic transducer arrangement has a housing for mounting the ultrasonic transducer arrangement in a through-hole in a housing of an ultrasonic water meter in a mounting plane. The housing of the meter contains an ultrasonic measuring section along which a transit time measurement can be carried out by the ultrasonic transducer arrangement. The ultrasonic transducer arrangement has a transducer body located in the housing for generating and/or receiving an acoustic signal, a housing wall assigned to the transducer body through which the acoustic signal runs, and an electrical contact for connecting the transducer body to a voltage or current source. The transducer body is positioned in the housing at an oblique angle with respect to the mounting plane. A holding device, which is oriented at an oblique angle with respect to the mounting plane is provided inside the housing, which exerts a holding force oriented towards the housing wall.

The present invention relates to a housing arrangement for an ultrasound flow meter, comprising a unipartite or multipartite housing () provided to be connected to a fluid line, comprising an ultrasonic transducer having an ultrasonic transducer body and a housing or covering which at least partially surrounds the ultrasonic transducer body, comprising a housing opening provided in the housing () for positioning the ultrasonic transducer at the housing arrangement, comprising a sealing element arranged between the housing () and the ultrasonic transducer, wherein a housing insert () can be inserted in the housing opening () as a module, the housing insert () is adapted to receive at least two ultrasonic transducer bodies () which are positioned separately, without the ultrasonic transducer body () coming into contact with the fluid, and the housing insert () is connected to the housing () via a sealing element () which is common to the ultrasonic transducer bodies () which are positioned in the housing insert (). The present invention furthermore relates to an ultrasound flow meter with a corresponding housing arrangement.
