A wastewater tank arrangement for an aircraft, including a wastewater tank and a drain pipe having a first end and an opposite second end, the drain pipe fastened with its first end to the wastewater tank and having a second end for connection to a service panel in the aircraft structure. Providing a wastewater tank arrangement can effectively compensate tolerances between the wastewater tank and the service panel, and can effectively compensate installation and manufacturing tolerances during the course of the initial installation, in that the wastewater tank arrangement has a tolerance compensation device configured to connect the second end of the drain pipe to the service panel and compensate tolerances between the second end of the drain pipe and the service panel.

Wastewater tank arrangement for an aircraft

An aircraft cabin assembly is depicted and described having a cabin wall, which surrounds a cabin interior space and has a wall surface facing the cabin interior space, and having a light source, which is provided in order to emit light onto the wall surface. The problem of providing an aircraft cabin assembly which, irrespective of the light outside of the aircraft cabin assembly, as effectively as possible gives a passenger in the cabin interior space the impression that the cabin interior space is larger than it actually is, is solved in that the wall surface has a holographic image of an object and in that the light source is designed to emit the kind of light onto the wall surface that allows the holographic image to be seen as a three-dimensional image of the object which is the subject of the holographic image.

Aircraft cabin assembly

A system for compacting waste includes a trolley and a cabin monument. The trolley or the cabin monument has a compacting device. The compacting device includes a cover with a bellows that is arranged on the lower face of the cover and is designed to be movable between a folded-together position, in which the bellows interior has a first volume, and an unfolded position, in which the bellows interior has an enlarged second volume. By suctioning fluid from a container interior formed in the trolley by means of a first cover channel arranged in the cover of the trolley, the bellows can be moved into the unfolded position such that the bellows protrudes far enough into the container interior that the waste container and/or waste in the waste container is compacted.

System for compacting waste in a vehicle

A system includes a vehicle monument, a hose with a fluid line, and an adapter with a triggering unit and a housing, which has a fluid connection. The fluid connection couples to a fluid mating connection, wherein the monument has a fluid main valve and a control unit for controlling the fluid main valve, an inlet of the fluid main valve couples to a fluid suction source, and a first end of the hose connects to the monument such that a first end of the fluid line is coupled to a first outlet of the fluid main valve. System for extracting a fluid by suction, and a vehicle with a system of this type

A system for suctioning fluid is disclosed. In a cabin monument, a vacuum source and a vacuum interface unit is provided. At least one flexible hose provides a connection to the vacuum interface unit, having at least one first fluid line having a connection element. The end connection element connects to a unit to be evacuated. The vacuum interface unit includes an adapter for connection to the at least one fluid line, and a trigger unit. At least one valve unit and a control unit for controlling the at least one valve unit reside in the cabin monument. The control unit controls the valve unit at least indirectly based on a trigger signal generated by the trigger unit. Thus, a flexible positioning of a unit to be evacuated for waste compaction is possible. The disclosure also relates to a vehicle, in particular an aircraft, having such a suctioning system.

System for suctioning a fluid as well as a vehicle having such a system

A fluid-disposing system for a galley sink includes: a galley sink for a galley cabin monument, a self-regulating valve, a control unit, a sensor, and a signal connection between the sensor and the control unit. The valve input is connected to a fluid line, connected to a drainage opening of the galley sink. The valve is arranged underneath the drainage opening, such that fluid from the galley sink can flow through the associated drainage opening into the fluid line. The valve output is designed to be couplable with a source of negative pressure. The valve is designed to automatically open at a predetermined amount Mof fluid in the fluid line, such that fluid can flow out of the fluid line, and to automatically close at a predetermined amount Mof fluid in the fluid line, such that the predetermined amount Mof fluid remains in the fluid line.

System and method for disposing of fluid from a galley sink

A movable coupling for a pipeline, which can be applied in aviation and aerospace. The coupling includes a dip pipe, a counter piece and a displaceable component. The counter piece has a passage, into which the dip pipe is inserted. The counter piece has a holder extending from the passage. The component includes a clearance that the dip pipe extends through. A portion of the displaceable component is received in the holder so the displaceable component can be displaced relative to the counter piece in a direction not parallel to the longitudinal axis of the dip pipe. When the dip pipe moves relative to the counter piece, the displaceable component is tight against the dip pipe and also against the counter piece. A tank arrangement includes a tank with a pipeline connected to the tank and including a movable coupling.

A separation device is provided for a vacuum toilet system of an aircraft, which makes possible a significantly simpler type of cleaning, which can be done more quickly, of a profile separator. The movably held combination of a wiping device and the profile separator can carry out a relative movement. As a result of mechanical contact between the wiping device and the profile separator the deposits are removed from the profile separator.

A water-transporting line includes an integrated heater system for protection against frost and the appropriate connection, attachment and control elements. A self-heating water conduit segment is provided that has an integrated heating device, which device encloses the outer surface of the water conduit segment. A system is provided for the detection of deposits in a fluid line that includes, but is not limited to a measuring body, and ultrasonic transducer and an ultrasonic receiver and at least one evaluation unit connected to the ultrasonic transducer and the ultrasonic receiver. The ultrasonic transducer transmits an ultrasonic signal and the ultrasonic receiver receives response signals generated by reflections in the fluid line. From known geometric changes in shape of the fluid line, resulting response signals are finally filtered out of the response signal sequence and from the remaining response signals relating to the deposits, the distances can be calculated between the ultrasonic transducer and the deposits.

A preferred embodiment of the invention relates to a cyclone separator for a vacuum toilet system, with a casing; an input-side swirl generator, whose input openings impart a swirl to the inflowing fluid; a separating wall arranged in the casing, which encloses the fluid stream in the cyclone separator ring-like and whose interior cross section tapers downstream; and a collection tank in the casing for receiving and accumulating constituents separated out of the fluid. A device to diagnose a vacuum system comprises a pipe with a first opening that can be closed by a hingable cover, and a second opening that is designed to establish a pressure-proof connection to the vacuum system. The diagnostic device may be operated in a volume-flow mode in which the cover is open in order to determine a volume flow in the base body, and in a negative-pressure mode in which the cover is closed so as to allow to draw conclusions about the available pressure difference.
