Method for manufacturing a rotor of a fluid flow machine, including: connecting rotor disks with radial welds to form a hollow passage running around the rotor axis and interrupting the welds such that welds facing a rotor are directly adjacent the hollow passage; inserting a one-piece rotor ring between two directly adjacent rotor disks so one side of the rotor ring abuts against the first rotor disk centering lip; welding the two rotor disks to one another along a weld extending in a direction of the rotor axis starting from the hollow passage enclosed by the two rotor disks, a region of the hollow passage facing away from the rotor being at least partly open at the hollow passage's peripheral outside; displacing the rotor ring toward the second rotor disk; positioning the rotor ring over the hollow passage; and welding the rotor ring to the first, then the second, disk.

Method for the manufacture of a welded rotor of a fluid-flow machine

A method for manufacturing a welded rotor of a fluid-flow machine are described, through which rotor a coiling medium flows through inflow and outflow passages inside the rotor and which is composed of a plurality of rotor disks, which are connected to one another by welds running radially or largely radially relative to the rotor axis and in each case enclose with one another a hollow passage, which runs around the rotor axis and interrupts the welds in such a way that a weld facing the rotor is directly adjacent to the hollow passage.

According to the invention, turbine blades are provided that have increased functional reliability, which is achieved in that the interior space (8) of the blade body (3) in the region of the suction-side wall (4), the pressure-side wall (5) and the trailing blade edge (7) has a closed steam-cooling system (9) having at least one cooling passage (10, 27, 28). An open cooling system (11) having at least one cooling passage (14, 15) and a plurality of film-cooling holes (22) which pass through the blade body (3) is formed in the region of the leading blade edge (6).

A gas-turbine blade of solid construction and having cooling passages is specified, which cooling passages run in its interior and through which the cooling medium flows essentially from the blade root through the gas-turbine blade (100), these cooling passages (20) having a relatively small cross section in relation to the blade thickness and being arranged so as to run close to the lateral surface (100.1) of the gas-turbine blade (100), and the cooling-medium feed and discharge being effected in the base (60) of the gas-turbine blade (100).

In a turbo engine's welded rotor includes a number of disks, the radially or quasi-radially extending welding seams are intermediately interrupted by annular cavities through which a cooling medium flows, and these cavities are surrounded by a circumferentially extending insert ring. This insures the flow of the cooling medium through the entire rotor without reducing the strength of the welding bond.

For the purpose of separating dust particles inside a cooling system of a rotor, fitted with moving blades, of a turbo-machine, a device is arranged upstream of the moving blades to be cooled and in the region of the rotor outer surface. The device has at least one feed channel through which a coolant flows, and is directed in the radial direction such that the dust particles located in the coolant accumulate on the side accelerating in the direction of rotation of the rotor. These dust particles subsequently pass into a separation chamber operationally connected to the feed channel and in which they are captured in order then to be discharged.

To improve wall cooling, especially at gas turbine elements, such as buckets or blading, combustion chambers, infeed channels and so forth, it is proposed to arrange a partition wall between an outer plate and an inner plate, for instance formed of sheet metal. The partition wall forms a cooling agent chamber and a pressure equalization chamber. The partition wall preferably consists of a buckle plate whose bulges or protuberances are connected, as by welding, with the outer plate. There is maintained within the pressure equalization chamber a pressure which approximately corresponds to the hot gas pressure at the outer surface of the outer plate, so that there are avoided so-called boiler stresses.
