The invention relates to a fuel injection valve for injecting fuel into a combustion chamber of an internal combustion engine, having a nozzle needle () which is guided, such that it can perform a stroke movement, in a central bore () of a nozzle body () in order to open up or close off at least one injection opening (), wherein the nozzle needle () interacts, by means of an encircling sealing region () formed on the combustion-chamber-side end thereof, with a sealing seat () that runs conically and is formed on the combustion-chamber-side end of the nozzle body (). According to the invention, the sealing seat () that runs conically has an opening angle (&#x3b1;) of between 30&#xb0; and 50&#xb0;, preferably of between 40&#xb0; and 50&#xb0;.

Fuel injection valve

The invention relates to a method for producing an injection valve for liquids, preferably an injection valve for injecting fuel into a combustion chamber of an internal combustion engine. The injection valve has a valve body, with a valve seat which is formed therein, and a valve needle which interacts with the valve seat in order to open and close at least one injection opening. The injection valve is produced by means of the following method steps: producing the valve body from steel, hardening the valve body, annealing a partial region of the valve body at an annealing temperature. The device for carrying out the method according to the invention has an inductive annealing generator which generates a suitable alternating current for operating a coil, in the magnetic field of which coil the valve body can be heated for annealing.

Injection valve, method for its production, and apparatus for performing the method

A fuel injection valve for internal combustion engines, having a valve body with a bore defined on its end toward the combustion chamber by a conical valve seat, with a valve needle disposed longitudinally displaceably in the bore and a sealing face with two sealing portions on its end toward the combustion chamber with the second conical face being disposed on the combustion chamber side of the first conical face. An annular groove extending between the conical faces has an end facing away from the combustion chamber which acts as a sealing edge upon contact of the valve sealing face with the valve seat. Recesses embodied in the valve seat and/or on the valve sealing face hydraulically connect the annular groove with a portion of the second conical face located on the combustion chamber side of the annular groove.

Fuel injection valve for internal combustion engines

A fuel injection valve with a valve body in which a valve needle that has a longitudinal axis can slide in the longitudinal direction in a bore. The combustion chamber end of the bore is provided with a conical valve seat between the valve needle and the wall of the bore a pressure chamber is formed, which can be filled with fuel and extends to the valve seat. The valve needle has a valve sealing surface that cooperates with the valve seat in order to control at least one injection opening leading from the valve seat and contains an annular groove that extends in a radial plane of the valve needle. The downstream edge of the annular groove is embodied as a sealing edge and is hydraulically connected to the pressure chamber on a continuous basis.

Disclosed is a fuel injection valve including a valve body and a bore, embodied as a blind bore, whose bottom face is oriented toward the combustion chamber, and a conical valve seat having at least one injection port is disposed, is embodied on the bottom face. In the bore, a pistonlike valve member, which is longitudinally displaceable counter to a closing force, is disposed and has a valve member tip, which in the closing position of the valve member comes to rest on the valve seat. A first conical face and a second conical face, disposed toward the combustion chamber toward the first conical face, are embodied on the valve member tip, and the cone angle of the first conical face is smaller than the cone angle of the valve seat, which in turn is smaller than the cone angle of the second conical face. One annular groove is embodied between the first conical face and the second conical face, and an additional encompassing annular groove is disposed on the second conical face and at least partly coincides with the injection ports in the closing position of the valve member, so as to supply all the injection ports uniformly with fuel even if the valve member is off its axis.

A fuel injection valve for internal combustion engines having a valve body in which a bore is embodied, a valve seat face, at least one injection opening embodied on the end toward the combustion chamber of the bore, and at least one injection opening connecting the bore with the combustion chamber of the engine. A nozzle needle is longitudinally displaceably guided in the bore and on its end toward the combustion chamber it has a sealing face, which cooperates with the valve seat face and thus controls the at least one injection opening. The nozzle needle has a central longitudinal bore, in which an inner needle is disposed that is fixed immovably relative to the valve body. The nozzle needle is guided over at least part of its length on the inner needle, so that the nozzle needle is kept exactly centrally in the bore at all times.

A fuel injection pump is proposed in which over a first portion of the supply stroke of the pump piston fuel for the main injection is pumped via a distributor line and a distributor groove into one at a time of a plurality of fuel injection lines. In a second, remaining portion of the pump piston supply stroke, on the same cam flank, fuel is then pre-stored in a reservoir, controlled by a first electrically controlled valve and a second electrically controlled valve and by one of a plurality of longitudinal control grooves, which fuel subsequently, before the beginning of the next main injection determined by the closure of the first electrically controlled valve, is pumped via a second distributor line into the next succeeding injection line.
